Hugh's typically British sarcasm is a great counterbalance to Nicole's earnest passion and vice versa. They also meet on a same level of politeness and courtesy. Great pairing.

I’m very impressed with both of these stars’ performance in this drama. I feel Hugh Grant’s talent has seasoned well. He definitely has an added depth.

LOVED everything about this chat. I am 35 now and grew up with these actors, and have had the honor to watch their careers as I grow up, too... Both so honest, yet mysterious... Both also aging like FINE WINE.
The first episode of “The Undoing” has that WOW factor that’s nothing less than shock with an abundance of awe.
All the fine emotional performances coupled with sumptuous houses, apartments, clothes and hair all to die for, along with New York playing its grandiose part. Finding it difficult waiting for the next episode, but that’s where a thriller gets you as an on screen page turner and a visual delight for all the senses.
Hugh is so funny! He cracks me up. They both were amazing in the series.
Nicole is one of the most gracious people I have heard talk about her projects. She’s modest and seems fun. Actually nothing like the person she is portrayed to be by the press.
He's so bold you have to love him as for Nicole she just can't do anything wrong in my eyes she's perfect 👌

I thought their marriage was fantastic. Like who wouldn’t want their dynamic in a marriage like they initially shared. So warm, humorous, loving. To find out it was so superficial would have been heartbreaking as it was to Grace when his psychopathic traits were ultimately revealed. The grief and loss she would have felt would have been soul destroying. I felt sad that it wasn’t genuine. Their character portrayal was masterful. It just goes to show that true parental love can move mountains when you put your offspring first as this series showed.
Nicole is almost back to her Moulin Rouge look in this one 🌷 I found this series extremely intriguing. Looking forward to next episode

Nicole’s performance in season 1 of big little lies is one of my favourite ever tv performances. Incredible. She really proved what an a list actor is quality wise

Really enjoyed this. Both of them seem so grounded and real. It was a pleasure to hear them talk. Am enjoying the series a lot. Nicole Kidman’s acting is brilliant as always. And she looks OH, so gorgeous! I watched the first episode in awe of how beautiful she looked and paid half baked attention to the dialogues! Lol. Had to rewatch. Lol.

The series is so good, absolutely gripped, Nicole is very talented. Love how she sings the title song. One thing I am glad is that she stopped the botox in this series so you can see her expressions. Who cares anyway, really enjoyed it.

Hugh Grant has gone through such a transformation. He was put through the ringer, but he has come back in force against those same organisations that put him through the ringer, and I think He's a better actor now than he was as a young man. So "bully for him" as a young Hugh Grant would say!

She always chooses risky roles that often start controversy. The Academy doesn't seem to appreciate when discussion gets created. But isn't what art is supposed to do ? I agree with you, she hasn't been recongnized enough for her talent. She's often been let down in regards to awards. Like for her role in Destroyer, she did a fantastic performance but barely got a nomination for it... And that's just an example from many others. I don't know, maybe that's because she's Australian or just because she never chose the easier path. She is a true artist and there's not many people who can reach that level of acting.

The Undoing is an incredibly good, gripping, extremely well written, acted and directed series. It serves as a sort of companion piece-with a somewhat different tone- to Succession, as both feature hidden wrongdoing among the wealthy and elite in Manhattan.

I think what keeps Hugh Grant so young is his childish insecurities, my god, relax man! Nicole Kidman is so grown up, empathetic and professional in comparison, doing a lot of the carrying and being gracious about it, total star!
