funnily enough I just moved to an area known for peacocks, but there was a cull a few years back and I have not yet spotted one. well, least we have NBC 😏 couple of recent SNLs have been strong for a change
We went today (and then did the CPK happy hour after) and I was expecting so much worse after your 'out of the theater' reaction. I wonder if your throwaway gag was the same one I got quite a chuckle from.
Love to see this crossover. It's too bad that DreamWorks treated one of their legacy franchises like this. No soul or care. I really expected more from DreamWorks... especially after the success of Puss in Boots 2.
I look forward to Kristian's "Big Thing" show on his main channel every week. He moved his UAP show to a new channel called "Down To Earth". Give it a listen if you're UFO-curious 🎉
I saw the first one, I liked it, but not that much so def not seeing this one unless my sister's kids are watching it and I happen to be there as well.
You guys forgot to mention Katie (Katy?) from Shang-Chi. I agree she's kind of one note, but that's kind of the thing you get with these musicians turned actors. Rhianna, Lady Gaga and even Jack Black. You kind of know what you are getting when you cast them in a role. They are not professionally trained, so you generally aren't going to get such diverse performances. They may have an Oscar moment, like Awkwafina in "The Farewell" or Lady Gaga in "A Star is Born" but that can be due to a number of factors. It could be the writing, directing, if they've never acted before, their coach. Like Nicholas Cage winning Best Actor for "Leaving Las Vegas," there can be a variety of reasons behind an actor's award winning performance beyond of the actor's overall talent.
3/5 for me. It’s undoubtedly the weakest entry and you can tell from a cast perspective and an animation perspective they did everything possible to keep the cost down (and it worked cuz it’s grossed nearly half a billion on a budget of $85 million). There’s some redeeming stuff like Jack Black always delivering as this character along with Cranston & Hong going back and forth. But it is fair to say disappointing since the first three are so good. I’ve read some stuff about behind the scenes (specifically with the co director and how she was treated) and it feels like some of that really tarnished the final product.
A major disappointment. When I saw the trailers I wasn't very enthused and unfortunately the movie just barely met my low expectations. Master Shifu wants Dragon Warrior to choose a successor for him but it appears a new villain has appeared who maybe the most formidable Po has ever met. Kung Fu Panda 4 has a base of a plot but it just fails to expand that base into a proper narrative. Now for me even the base wasn't something unique but still there was a story. But the narrative is so basic without any humor and intelligence that Kung Fu Panda seems more like a long episode of an animated series than a standalone movie. The set up is very loose and the plot is just rushed through. Apart from the concept of main villain this movie really recycles the ideas of the previous Kung Fu Panda movies with very limited impact. The movie places most if not all its bet on the new character of Fox played by Aquafina and her partnership with Kung Fu Panda is sort of presented as the highlight of the movie. But with a very cliched plot and lack of any depth in the narrative that track is really unable to breathe any life into the movie. In fact any thrill that comes into the movie comes surprisingly from Tai Lung. After Po and Master Shifu he is probably the third most interesting character in this movie. And maybe a partnership between the 2 arch rivals Tai Lung and Po would have made for a far more interesting narrative. The animation is standard, and among the voice actors Jack Black shows he hasn't lost any of his timing even after a long gap but frankly this wasn't the return Kung Fu Panda deserved. A 5.5 from we. A very basic movie with no life.
Wow, Kristy is really ripping into this movie. I'm disappointed. DreamWorks has been very good with their classic character movies. But even the mighty Pixar has been failing in their last few movies. Oh well...
You are so sweet Corey. I hope you have the best day of your life today. And I hope that you’re able to communicate in the world the best way that you need to and that everything works out for you. I truly mean that. Hope all is well and you are the absolute best.
kristian you’re a professional critic attempting to compare the quality of this movie to the previous ones in the series. dont just say “forgive me i didnt look up if director is the same,” do your job. especially when your a guest on someone else’s channel, kinda embarassing that you didn’t do any prep and just showed up for the zoom call.
Well, I hope you have a wonderful day and a wonderful life. You gotta look at life a little differently, my friend. Running around just throw an insult of people if that makes your life better, then more power to you, but I wish you nothing but the best. Kisses and hugs.

This review is how I find out Christy has Peacocks in her neighborhood?
Yes, they roam the streets and frolic in the trees!
funnily enough I just moved to an area known for peacocks, but there was a cull a few years back and I have not yet spotted one. well, least we have NBC 😏 couple of recent SNLs have been strong for a change

- Mr Peanutbutter
Yay Kristian! 🎉 Great review
Thanks friend, good to see you!
Yes Harloff!

Love to see this crossover. It's too bad that DreamWorks treated one of their legacy franchises like this. No soul or care. I really expected more from DreamWorks... especially after the success of Puss in Boots 2.
Wait, the Furious 5 aren't even in it??? What's the point?
Right? They're all off doing their own assignments.
I look forward to Kristian's "Big Thing" show on his main channel every week. He moved his UAP show to a new channel called "Down To Earth". Give it a listen if you're UFO-curious 🎉
Glad you're a fan of his too!

Franchise fatique is what I would call it.
You know kris harloff???
Didn't know that
He's been a friend of ours for many years, a lovely guy.
Okay, but does somebody finally manage to kill the panda? If so, I'll go see it.
Never knew you guys know each other... 😊
Yep, he's been a friend of ours for many years.
@@BreakfastAllDay that's right... didn't you guys get on his Schmoes Showdown, at one time or two...??
Of course little kids will like this, they'll like anything lol.
Feels like if Pauline Kael invited Pauly Shore to review a movie. 😆
ALL LOVE GUYS
As a Giants fan, where is your loyality? Not a true New Yorker I guess. We protect out own. No class. All love of course!😊
You’re the man Kristian.

Yes, that is another good example.
3.2? That's low for animated.....

That is unfortunate!
I honestly feel this review is very lack luster smh there's a lot more Artistry in this film than meets the eye.
A major disappointment. When I saw the trailers I wasn't very enthused and unfortunately the movie just barely met my low expectations.

Actively bad? That's bad.
It's not good!
Harloff sucks Hollywood puppet, he always give bad movies good reviews

Kristian does haven’t the talent or skills to be on this channel.
You don't have the talent or skills to compose a simple English sentence.
Disagree completely. He's knowledgeable and authentic and we're thankful he found the time to share his thoughts.
