The recoil is realistic for the minigun.
A minigun fires so fast and doesn't have a bolt slapping back and forth, so it has a smooth push backwards, not a jump like a weapon with a bolt.
plus it has a lower bore height so more of the recoil is directed straight back instead of muzzle flip

The weapon is so heavy and the ammo is even heavier that only a real man like Arnold Schwarzenegger could ever fire it from the hip.
In that documentary about hunting aliens he was in.
nah even a average size female can hold and shoot it... there is no push back or recoil of any sort
@@MMORPG87 we never said you can actually fire it by hand, if you did it would have very little vertical impulse and would just push you over, making it realistic to have a low vertical recoil impulse ingame

If you put it on a weapon display case, you can reload it with explo hv or incin rounds by accessing the guns stats

yep they actually patched this exploit a few days ago, buuut thank God i had the privilege to try it a few times and it was indeed totally OP lol, explo ammo in the minigun took me about 4seconds for a sheet metal door if i remember correctly... You could basically raid an entire base from the doorpath within less than a minute if it had only 4-5 doors to TC and a teammate to cover the outside.

This is mainly a Base defense Weapon. You build Inner Wall/Roof peaks next to protected bedrooms and have a teammate in Full heavy hold the breach point. Or put it in an auto Turret for an insane corner holder

I was fortunate enough to get one from my first locked crate of the wipe, and I have to say, it met all of my expectations! It is way to op, but that's what makes it so much fun.
Bro didn't even mention loading explo ammo in this thing for the quickest raids in RUST history!
Man that kinigun is hell of a weapon.My clan and i got a lot of them from farming every crate at the server (we are 120+zerg).It was so much fun just shreeding naked players from top of our fortress near excavator and gas station.
Plus raiding is a lot easier when we go raid we often throw a grenade into the door and send a minigun juggernaut (A clan memeber with heavy armor and minigun)to clear the room and it is so muchfun.

I would say its probaly made for base defense, while you wear heavy plate armor and hide your feet behind a sandbag. The rate of fire unlike Ak can stop zerg rushes into your base due to having more bullets and no reload :P
People who don't understand turret damage are overrating it. Dps of a turret depends much more on damage per shot, which is why m249 kills much faster.
I believe the m249, hmlmg, ak, and python all have faster kills times than minigun, with bolt still having that unique one shot capability.

Soooo the minigun is essentially an AK Reskin nothing more.. Good to know ! (I did some test on a building server on my own, annnd i have to say i was kinda disapointed by this new item, it's cool and makes a nice sound when you shoot it, there is a big work that has been done with the model and sounds etc, for example did you know this is actually an aircraft minigun you're holding in your hands? Probably a helicopter doorgunner minigun pretty cool right , but that's about it, it's not repairable (despawns from your hotbar), slows you a lot when you rev it, makes a big waste of ammo, not a lot of DPS, etc etc...) Great video anyway keep it up!

While it's kinda cool, and I'm glad they didn't make it too strong, what is even the value of this? It seems subpar to other options in most scenarios. The only time I could see this being great is in base defense with heavy armor, but there's already other weapons for this role.
I like how rust are acurated of the Minigun realistic irl this thing need a battery to even operated just like it big brother the m61 vulcan
I honestly feel like it's balanced but just overall a not needed addition to the game. It's not like it's better than the ak in any range other than 5-10m but then you might aswell use a shotgun.

You can actually load it with Explosive ammo if you put it on the weapon rack since the weapon rack allows you to load weapons.

There is no way the fire rate is 600 rpm. In fact if you look at impacts on the wall the minigun seems to fire multiple projectiles per shot.
I believe that is a visual glitch. If you tap, it appears to shoot more than one bullet. However, you only consume 1 bullet and it only deals damage once to a player.
How is the headshot damage?

we need team limit servers to be more popular, sad thing is the clans and zergs are 60% of the games players.
@@MrRando-yl7tc the problem with team limit servers is that they fucking die sooo quick, 2 days including wipe day and shit is dead. Regular servers have pop, because there are more groups that are like let's say 4-5 or even more at once. I don't really care about the team limit. My point is that.. Everyone is such a massive pussy, it's honestly boring af to play. You hear a gun being shot there's a huge chance it just another roof camp. If you do manage to find people on the ground, it's like 3-4 at a time, you get the jump on one and you either insta die, or can't even loot the body because his teammates are jerking off in a Bush waiting for you push. They dumbed down the game too much, yet no one has the bass to play it. Very boring. Oh and don't get me started on those fresh 996 or 997 cheater accounts that just shit on you, but not by skill, but by esp-ing your ass from half the map. Rust is a shell of the game of what it once was. It's gonna live on, but I ain't gonna play this boring shit. Too many issues with Current Rust. Simply put, don't even bother this game.
