Here we are. The trilogy has been completed. And what better way to finish it off than with an epic orchestral arrangement along with a proper animation!
Before anything else, I should address something. The writer of these lyrics (ateotu) has stated that this isn't meant to be from Frisk's perspective, but rather the player's. But, since the majority of the Undertale fanbase seem to call these lyrics "Frisk's response", I have decided to keep the "Frisk version" in the title to avoid confusing people who don't know who's perspective it's really from.
I had a ton of help this time from my good friend Cloudjumper. He did the majority of the orchestral arrangement as well as mixing all the instruments while I handled the vocal mixing and mastering. He's a super talented dude and you should definitively check out his music. It's crazy good!
Secondly, I'd like to thank Olivia (XxMileikaIvanaxX) who returns as this illustrator for this remix. Seriously, the video wouldn't even be 80% as pretty and full of emotion if it weren't for her absolutely incredible illustrations. Thank you agreeing to work with me again! This gives me tears when they hugged and I’ve seen this multiple times and in my head I can only see frisk saying, “*hic (crying)* S-sans…I’m sorry..! *hic* end me..and I’ll reset..I’m sorry..” and then sans replies like, “it’s ok kid..*shoots with bones* now if you really mean it. Reset and never do it again.”

This was my play through. I did a genocide run and got all the way to sans, after hours and hours of fighting the true hero. (Undyne) I finally got to sans and got destroyed over and over again, untill I got all the way to his final attack after what felt like over 100 tries. Even after all that work I let myself die ,cause I could not bring my self to ruin his world, no matter how strong my curiosity. So I reset my save file and put down the game for about 2 years. I just recently got back into the game and the first thing flowey says to me is " Don't you have anything better to do" that stings a bit.

I am highly amazed. Look at how clean and amazing the voice with the music is. The art. The emotion, the aura, the lyrics. Everything. I love this creation of art it really gives me the chills. You know you have succeeded when you make your viewers feel something about it and such strong emotions.
I think when they say "I'm playing out the part of the fool" they are referencing the sign near the beginning to the ruins that says "only the fearless may proceed. brave ones, foolish ones, both walk not the middle road" this is the key to figuring out the puzzle in that room but many people also think it has to do with pacifist genocide and neutral 'roads' too.

This was a good portrayal of a last-minute reset from genocide. Once Flowey is killed, there's no going back. Here, though, Frisk does what a real friend would do. They get dunked on and they don't come back.

I always thought that we were Chara but doesn't that mean Chara is us? I mean sure we the player are controlling Frisk in Genocide but isn't Chara originally supposed to be the player or something. What I mean is that the name we choose at the start is our name/nickname so I always thought Chara represents us in some way because I doubt that Toby would have done this if it has no reason. If we look at it like this and Chara is supposed to represent us than technically Chara is controlling Frisk because no matter how you turn it we kinda are Chara and Chara is us.

i’ve never seen a song that could bring me such joy and such sadness at the same time. her voice and the amount of emotion put into it. this song has been great since it came out and i’ve listened to it ever since i heard it for the first time. not to mention the ending makes me cry! sans and frisk hugging while frisk was killed makes me cry no matter how many times i watch it lol.

The emotion in Frisk's voice, the orchestrated music... It conveys a powerful emotion. Frisk wants to go back. But they can't. And then the fact that Sans has to kill Frisk to truly end it all is just the final punch in the gut...

Feels nice to revisit Undertale universe from time to time. Great memories, and fandom creations.

YOU killed all the monsters. YOU kill papryus, toriel, undyne, everyone. it was all YOUR doing. YOU, THE PLAYER, did all of it, not anyone else, not Chara. this is all your doing.
you could've stopped anytime you wanted, but you killed anyway, out of curiosity, boredom, hatred? fights blur together, you stop having fun playing the game, yet you continue. for what? an ending that doesnt really end? was it all worth it?
