I think Seventeen does really well in balancing their bright and dark or emotional sides in their discography. During their first years, they released more fun title tracks and had darker or sadder bsides on the album to show a different side of themselves. Then they slowly started maturing and darkening their title tracks, but chose to promote a funkier bside track alongside those. For example, Fear and Hit are on the An Ode album which has a lot of fun and uplifting tracks like Lucky, Let Me Hear You Say and Snapshoot which was promoted on music shows with Fear.

I agree with you when it comes to seventeen having their "fresh" identity! When SVT debuted, every other boy group at the time was doing hard-hitting and sexy tracks, and then seventeen debuted with Adore U lol (Fun little side note, their predebut track "Shining Diamond" was a really hard-hitting song and we all thought that would be the TT but 🤡). Seventeen's identity has always followed them as people because Seventeen only does what they want to do! In an interview around "Home" era, Woozi talked about how he doesn't follow trends, and he just makes music that fits seventeen best, and it's really reflected in the concepts of their TTs!

wow i'm so glad u appreciate their choreos and vocals in these songs! :) hit is one of my favorite song for live performance, the amount of overflowing energy they're giving is just amazing. every single live performance of hit was incredible, and i love that choreo so so much. someone said 'this performance makes me feel like i have to live more passionately' and i really agree, they just give it all in the stage for this song. i just love it. i agree that 'fear' is really different from what they've done before, they did more darker songs like 'getting closer' and 'good to me' before but they were b-sides so this might feel new. but i believe svt can pull off any kind of genre that they chose, mainly because Woozi writes every title songs and 95% of their b-sides, so he knows what fits best for his team. thx for another great video, i'm really enjoying your 'road to carat' videos so much! looking forward to the next one🥰🥰

They had a bit different choreography for HIT before but they changed and made it more laid back for the second chorus and the bridge because it was extremely tiring for them to deliver such draining continues choreo + sing them together live ..but still they are Killing It ..!
