Seventeen has 13 members but the reason they're named 17 is because 13 members + 3 units (vocal, hiphop, and performance) + 1 team = 17. Also they are known for being the KINGS OF SYNCHRONIZATION even a computer program was able to prove that Seventeen is the most synchronized group in the industry, now in the aju nice dance practice there is suppose to be 13 but one of the members was sick so he couldn't record the dance practice with them but he was represented by the fox plushie in the middle but you only counted 11 cause another member walked off screen
so there is 12 here.

The stuff they put in the front middle is to indicate the center. Also on the Very Nice Dance Practice, one of the members named Wonwoo weren't present so they put a stuffed toy wearing glasses instead of random thing (because Wonwoo usually wears glasses)

actually aside from Aju Nice/Very Nice and HOT, the rest are kind easy choreos for them, i recommend you to react to their HIT, HOME;RUN, DON'T WANNA CRY, THANKS, BOOM BOOM, SUPER, DON QUIXOTE, their japanese track CALL CALL CALL and 24hr choreography, these are my top list hardest and most chefs kiss choreography of seventeen

Seventeens choreo is not all about synchronisation, they also have incredible details within the choreo which makes their choreos more interesting and better
The "thing" in the front was originally to represent a member that couldn't make it due to being sick/injured. I also want to mention that they are a self made group. They started from practically nothing, so seeing them improve and rise up is impressive

I often have problems with teams where there are 4 or 5 members in the team but Seventeen I learned in one day 😆

And don’t forget that Joshua and Vernon are foreigners (there both Korean but Joshua is from LA and Vernon is from New York and his mom I think is American)

And BSS!! It stands for Boo Seok Soon (Boo Seungkwan, Lee Seokmin, Kwon Soonyoung) they’re a separate unit and u should definitely check them out! I would recommend watching their Asian Artist Awards :)

Seventeen is the performance power house of K-pop and their choreographies are insane and they are known for their synchronization. Their massive hit from 2023 is "super" and it's choreography is on a whole different level

FINALLY!!!!! everytime i watched your reaction to dance practices i was ScrEAmING inside that you haven't watched seventeen when they are thE KINGS OF SYNCHRONIZATION. These are all great but you should really watch Homerun, Gettin Closer, Super, 24 Hours, Fallin Flower, Pretty U, I Don't Wanna Cry, Boom Boom, Hit, Clap, Call Call Call, Home, and Cheers. and if you like Left and Right, you might like Snapshoot and Mansae too. It was a fun song with fun choreo. Man you should just watch all of their dance practices videos. You already missed out on a lot 😂 you would not regret it!!!

Easier would be to remember them by unit.

Personally for me, best choreography is Don't Wanna Cry and Thanks.

I think fear isn't a song that empasize on their choreo (still iconic tho). For around that era/year to see "improvements" Hit/Getting Closer/Don't Wanna Cry or even Boom Boom would've been a better choice song if its the choreos you wanna react to. Love your reaction tho, would love to see more

All albums are great. But the most recent ones FML and Seventeen Heaven are highest sold albums in K-pop history.

I learned all seventeen's members name by watching game caterer. It easy once you get to know their personalities. FYI, I never knew their existence before.
I think what's in front could be another camera, possibly focused on floor/footwork. They're very serious about synchronization. If you notice when they all jump, they land loud... but it's like only one set of feet landing.
You didnt misscount, but theres 13 members in seventeen. One wasnt on the practice when you counted, one was waiting for his cue to get back in formation behind the camera.
If you want more amazing dances to react to, I think you must watch these masterpieces: DONT WANNA CRY, DON QUIXOTE, FALLIN FLOWER, 24H, SUPER, LILILI YABBAY (performance team song) and ofc to know how amazing they were back then in their debut ADORE U. But their every dance is so great thanks to all the amazing choreographers and our Hoshi (performance team leader).
My ultimate favorite music group in kpop and outside of it!! At this point I recognize each member just by the way they move😂😂
I'm late but seventeen are genuinely some of the best dancers in kpop. you can't even tell who is the most inexperienced dancer T-T they're all perfectly in sync

I used to think learning the names of 13 people would be hard (that's why it took me so long to get into svt), but I actually got it in less than a week, because all their names are pretty unique and they're all so different from one another.
I believe the guy in the blue pants is Jun, one of the Performance Unit members. He's an amazing dancer.

I'll recommend you Seventeens Performances of: (ofc) Super, 24H, Good To Me, Home;Run, Ima -Even if the world ends tomorrow- (even tho there are no performances on yt anymore) and i have a weak spot for the ひとりじゃない (Hitori Janai) performance. Amazing dances, energertic, synchronized and satisfying. They are my absolute favs!

I find it really funny whenever I watch someone react to groups with lots of members like Seventeen(13 members), Twice(9members), Nct(23+ members?), and ask if we know all the members because obviously if im stanning a group ofc i would know ever single member, it would honestly be embarrassing not to know the names of the group you love,, it took me a week to get to know all the seventeen members and get familiarized for Twice i think it was the most natural I got to know the members from a few interviews it was easy, next took a minute but i still got them down even though i was just a casual listener and im not talking about name to faces im yalking about everything , height, date of birth, official color, their tone, if I can tell who it is just from their back or from only their shadow it sounds creepy but I get so familiar that you can instently know who's who just by their silhouettes
10:26 The box you're referring to is actually just a random object placement, many groups back then (1st gen - early 4th gen) used random objects like water bottles, stuff toys, boxes, etc to mark the middle of their formation. It was used back then when there were no camera movement in dance practices. It's like an imaginary line for the members to remember where the middle part is.
Well the idols are given different Practice rooms because of there choreo and forms they got big rooms for more space for pratice or whichever practise room is free
1:25 once you'll get into them, than they will seem smaller. And even it's feels empty when one of them is not there with them

The item in the front is to help keep them centered, i believe! A lot of groups use their newest albums or water bottles as the item to do that

I would actually recommend SUPER , THANKS , FALLING FLOWER , HIGHLIGHT OT13 , 24H and actually more and more but these ones are really mind-blowing like the dance practice is something I really reaaaally hope you make a reaction on these istg you aint regretting like no way
The thing at the middle like bottle, book, or their album or anything.. It is for they know the middle position of the camera.
I don't wanna cry, super, hit, flower, getting closer they have amazing choreographies too.

seventeen are especially known for their dancing and synchronicity! (and for being self produced, of course!)
i would HIGHLY recommend watching "lilili yabbay", which is a dance video from their performance unit. and "my i" which is is a dance video from their 2 chinese members. both are beautiful performance videos!
"getting closer" and "crazy in love" are also some of my personal favorites.
Oh there's many other choreography videos that you should watch to deeply understand how epic and talented this group is, like 24h falling flower, ima, lilly yabbay, don quixote, super, and all of them actually. I think that no other group comes even close to them when talking about performances and technique! They might not be loud about it (and the fandom isn't either) cause they are too humble and happy to be doing what they do, but seriously I think they deserve more recognition in the k-pop world than they already have. And I'm saying this as an ARMY ;)
The thing that's in the middle is what us dancers use as a "center" so we know where we are supposed to be based on that spot in the middle most if not all times entertainers use tape so it's not as obvious
I have binge watch 10 Going Seventeen Episode and by that, I've memorized their names and got familiarized with their faces. :D

the thing in front during very nice is actually a plush for a member named wonwoo! during the promotion during that time, he was sick and couldn’t attend most of the promotions so they placed the wonwoo plush in front! usually the thingy in front of their promotion album - like in left&right is their album in front :D
If you want to see more intense choreography from seventeen, i suggest you to watch GETTING CLOSER, HIT, HOME;RUN, DON'T WANNA CRY, READY TO LOVE, FEARLESS (there is no official dance practice but you can watch their comeback stage I SWEAR IT'S SOOOOO GOOD! YOU'LL GET GOOSEBUMPS!)

fallin flower is a very symbolic choreography with a lot of (some hidden, some easy to spot) references to flowers, petals and whatnot, personally one of my favs since the way they move is so soft, like the melody of the song
ready to love ! so satisfying to watch and if you know svt choreo ,, you know there's gonna be ripples, but in this one they definitely stepped it up (like in Super)

23:39 FUN FACT: They are separated into 3 groups at this part. the 4 members in the middle waving their arms are actually the performance unit. The performance unit includes Chan ( brown hair), The8 ( pink hair), Jun ( silver hair), Hoshi( blonde hair). The group with 5 members on the left with their backs facing us is the Vocal Unit. That unit includes Woozi ( Shortest one, Dk ( grey shirt), Seungkwan ( Blue hair), Joshua ( blue shirt), and jeonghan ( cast on arm). The group on the right facing us is the Hip-Hop unit. This consists of Wonwoo ( white shirt, glasses), Mingyu ( black jacket), Vernon ( mixed looking, grey shirt), and lastly our leader of the group, Scoups ( white beanie). I wanted to introduce the members and that was the perfect time because they were all with their units. so now you know the singers, dancers, and rappers of seventeen. though they can all do it sooooo
