Everything you guys say in this video is spot on. I started out on nylon guitars back in the 60's. I went to steel in the '70s. I can no longer play a full classical width nut, but I purchased one of these and was not disappointed. A great smaller body, very easy to play guitar. Thank you for these videos

I got the 12n without electronics and I wouldn't have cheaped out if I knew how much I would love it. Its so incredibly resonant and you can really feel the music when you're playing. The neck shape is great cause I can even use my thumb like a blues player if I want.

I just got this and I am obsessed. I have a large collection of Martins but needed a Nylon ("needed")..... Can't put it down. You'll need the saddle lowered and a small amount off the nut as well, it'll play perfect. Great construction, good looks, amazing sound to be honest.

Everyone should have a nylon string guitar around the house.

I have one coming for my studio! A quality addition for different sounding guitars, plus easy to play and value for money! If I wasn't in Australia, I'd consider purchasing from you. Thanks for your little showcases! Always informative and enjoyable.

My Dad loved nylon string guitars…Jerry Reed was one of his favorites.

I would suggest anyone- especially younger people- start out on a classical style guitar. I'm glad I did and I still have my 1st guitar. The neck is wider but they are easier starting out

Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed. That’s why I wanted a nylon. It does the job well.

You guys hit it on the head, addressing a nylon guitar for acoustic steel string players. A lot of the Cordobas and the like, are a little to much of a jump sometimes. This was a good watch, thanks boys.

I've had one for about six months and like it even more than my Taylor steel string. I only wish I'd gotten the electronic version. Also, the price is very reasonable.

What was Quinton playing starting at 8:10 and are tabs available? The spruce top and nylon strings make it almost sound like a lute. If I didn't already have a Cordoba and Yamaha nylon string guitar, I would definitely add this to my collection.

The big Guy has a sensitive side! Who knew? That’s the first Taylor to sound like a Martin steel strung 000. Great video, thank you

I play nylon string guitar to give my old fingers a break. I love steel string but a long session hurts due to overuse. I find nylon string a good guitar for practice.

Did it ever occur to anyone at Taylor to place the cheap ass decal on the headstock before applying the clear finish to protect the decal from peeling off?

hI! I need to know how it compares with the 212ceN. I can see different woods and preamp. It worth the difference of cost? And what is the difference in sound? I have 1 classical guitar and 1 flamenco spanish handmade guitar, but I need some with preamp..

How is the action on these please? Is it higher than a normal steel string? (More like a classical?)
Or does this play more like a steel. I guess I’m asking does it play like a steel but sound like a nylon.
    Can they handle strumming?
    Thanks

That is a feature, not a mistake. Notice also how it also has no back bracing. Why? Because the way the layers are pressed and bowled like that, it actually makes it super strong. Think suspension bridges and archways. It also adds to the projection of the instrument.
