- University of Alabama basketball player Brandon Miller finds himself at the center of a firestorm for his alleged role in the fatal shooting of a mother. Two of his former teammates were charged in the murder of 23-year-old Jamea Harris. In a hearing, it was established that one of the suspects left the murder weapon in Miller's car and text messaged him to bring it. In a statement, Miller says he never touched the gun and did not know any illegal activity would happen with the firearm.
The wrong kind of Assist
💀
I'm dead lmao. He dropped a dime tho
He wasn't the one who took the shot
According to his lawyer he did not know what the gun's owner planed to do with it.
@@severebaldthey could still probably charge him with and accessory to the murder since he delivered the gun instead of calling the cops
For anyone wondering about what happened. Essentially another player on the team Darius Miles and another associate were flirting with the mother and when she didn't respond got angry because she was rejecting their advances. Her boyfriend was in the car got into an argument with the two because they were harassing her. That's when the shooting started.
😢Thanks for the update, May THE GOOD FATHER BLESS Her Soul.
Omg…..these kids throw their lives away and ruin others for simple turn down.

He didn't fire the gun though.....
Was he wearing his Nike ja morant Air holsters???
So you hand someone a gun and don't expect anything illegal would happen? That's B.S !
he returned it to th owner there nothing illegal about that
The owner is a licensed gun user though
He knew why he was delivering the gun. His friend texted him to bring the gun while saying somebody was beefing with him. It isnt too hard to figure out that his friend wanted to use the gun to shoot or to threaten a person with it and Miller got in his car and delivered it.
Whether he is charged or not it is insane that Alabama still has him play right now. Basically he seems to have found a loophole to get away with being a participant in a murder.
The gun wasn’t his stop it.
If you leave a gun in my car and I pull up to bring it to you and you decide to use it after how am I wrong in this situation?
@@CanYallPleaseSubcribe people just be saying anything on the net 😭 he didn’t shoot nobody he was there ride home the gun was legally owned
He got that text while he was already on the way about the gun
Since he said he was beefing with someone maybe the teammate thought he was in danger.
People saying he's guilty clearly didn't watch the entire video.

Man, if someone says, "bring what you know to be theirs to them, then that's what you do, especially if it was left to you.
You might stop and think about it when it’s a deadly weapon in the middle of the night.

This is a heartbreaking story. I just hope that that man was only involved in this incident in regards to bringing the gun just like he said and not actively involved with the shooting. Because surely if he knew that what happened would happen then he wouldn’t have done it. And the one thing that bugs me about this whole thing is why she was killed. Was this some random incident or did the victim have any kind of past connection to the murderer? I feel that this is something that should be addressed and reported about.
His other teammate was rejected by the young lady and he got upset that he is a star in the college basketball team so he wouldn't take a No! Sad
Heres the question tho
Why would somebody need a gun then if not for shooting it?
Did he think he was gonna shoot some mice thats been bugging him?
Like what other explanation is there
If it was my friends I would give it back too because I don’t want the responsibility of his gun 🤷♀️ I don’t think he knew this was gonna happen… that’s very sad
@SM OP said it "breaks my heart" well now we know he doesn't have the makings of a varsity athlete
You get 10 years if you buy a gun for someone else sounds like he did it and if you go to the gun store to buy one it tells you that it’s 10 years if you do
They could have lost the game with all those protesting noises but they didn't
I don't really know much about this situation or if he's actually guilty or not, but if he did end up killing that young mom he is absolutely psychotic R.I.P she looked so happy, and my condolences go out to the family :--( Edit: After fully watching the video I can now see how they messaged him about the gun etc, I still don't know how evil people have to be to do these kinds of things
it was the super tall dude being brought down the stairs, like the video says he just left the gun for them to use. Either way its a terrible situation and he should've known better.
They only want to arrest him because he is black, if he was white we wouldn’t even be talking about this.

@@Opt1csbruh 🤦♂️
He wasn't the shooter but he was an accessory to a murder.
Alabama laws make his involvement moot. If it happened in New York or California, he'd be on his way to the state penitentiary too.

Attention all would be criminals out there: now you can deliver the murder weapon to the crime scene and physically help prevent the victim from escaping and not be charged with a crime. The precedent has been set.

Common sense was never used in this situation. Middle of the night and your friend tells you to bring his gun back. Red flags all over. You let your friend store a gun in your car. The crowd made him play better lol
It's unfair to blame Miller... He didn't hurt anyone... He could have possibly believed the firearm was legally registered to the weapon's owner... In most states you only have to be 18 to legally purchase a firearm anyways... So basically he probably believed he was just returning property to it's origin... There's no way for him to have known what was going to happen with the weapon in the future... To be honest, it would have been illegal for Brandon Miller to keep the firearm after being notified it was in his car... He would have broken the law if he didn't return the weapon to it's owner so he would have been "illegally possessing a firearm" which is a crime in itself... He was obligated by law to return the property to it's owner... You can't blame that woman's death on Miller... That's not fair to Miller or his family... The real suspects were arrested...
yea, and they were his friends, and former teammates, he probably was convinced nothing bad would happen,
He’s an accomplice to premeditated homicide. A non-star athlete would have been in jail awaiting trial.
