So simple and yet so powerful. This is the real Flume's philosophy in my opinion. Yes, he's able to create very abstract and complex sound texture, rythm and harmonies but what makes him great is the ability to bring this complexity to a very understanble level. I mean, maybe there are plenty of layers going on, very strange sounds but you don t fell oppressed by this complexity, like while listening other very original electronic musician. Flume is able to make you appreciate that complexity, to enjoy it without putting too much effort (at least before Hi this is flume, I feel like something has changed since it). This song is a very great example of simplified comolexity and how this makes Flume music so impacting. This song is really good.
