I brought this air wrap .. I’ve load of my friend’s comment on our good my hair looks & at churches, even my partner has comment on my hair! I’m disabled lady with short hair & one hand, this air wrap has changed my hair styles.😊 & watching your UA-cam video. Thank you.
Thank you! You make it look so easy. Tried mine in a hurry before work today-massive fail. Used the big barrel and wasn’t sure of the fan or heat settings. I’m going back in for round two this afternoon now that I’ve seen your video and know it’s as easy as I hoped it would be
You made it look so easy Lydia!! Great video....thank you so much. xx I was stressing too much on separating hair into section by section....took me. AGES!! I'm definitely going to try your method of just letting the device randomly grab pieces itself....here goes....watch this space...Lol. .
Thank you. I think your video is the best one I have seen demoing the Dyson Air Wrap. I got mine today. Have not used it yet as arthritis in my hand is very bad today. I love the way you brushed it at the end, none of the other videos have shown that. I think that is what I probably would do. Your hair looked beautiful.
I just got mine in the mail today and I went right to your video to see how to use it on shorter hair. Been subscribed for a while because I wanted one so hubby bought it for our wedding anniversary! Thanks so much for the great video! I hope it’s as easy for me!
Enjoyed the video and feel I have learned a lot as my hair is short like yours, I will try and copy how you did yours as it was an easier way than I had tried. Thank you!
Amazing tutorial! All of the Dyson Airwraps are sold out in the USA! Can you show us a tutorial on how to use the Airwrap for short hair vintage styles?
Hey Katie! Hair should be 90% Dry for using the Barrels if the Airwrap is being used for a different attachment like the smoothing brushes they can be used from 50% dry so it all depends on the attachment. But I find the best results for curls are 90% dry. I hope this helps 😁
You've got to make sure the ROOTS of the hair get dried. If they are left damp after you've curled your hair, the root dampness will drop the curl VERY quickly. It's very difficult to get the correct hair "dampness" correct before you start to curl. Hair starts to dry out as you use the device, so keep a FINE SPRAY water bottle to hand (hard to find a nice "fine" spray bottle).
Make sure your Airwrap is on full heat and full speed try the 30mm barrels so the small ones. Your hair needs to be 80/90% dry so slightly damp but more on the dryer side so cold to touch. Message me on my Instagram Lydia Ellen stylist if this doesn't help and I'll see if I can help as it may be a couple of things but try what I've said first x
I use full heat full speed to curl, it's always below 150 degrees it has a microprocessor so won't exceed that heat so you won't be causing heat damage. You can use middle heat high speed if your finding it too warm x
Try Philip Kingsley maximiser spray mix half with water and spray on to each section as you go! Make sure your hair is 90% dry so just a spritz of spray but enough to feel it's slightly damp and remember to heat for 5-10 seconds then cool shot for 5-10 seconds. I use Hairspray sometimes too! The got2be glued is amazing! Feel free to message me on Instagram lydiaellenstylist if you need more help x
@@lydiacooper2836 yes I've. I find it useless as it does not hold the curls for longer period. My hair get straight in about 20 mins. So in order to keep them on you need to use hair sprays etc. So no point of spending for a "damage free" product like this if anyway you've to use chemicals and more heat to have longer lasting curls
@@viralee393 it's below 150 degrees so no extreme heat damage, the products you use shouldn't cause damage either. It all depends on hair type to on how long the curls will last.

What a great, great video. Your’s is one of the few tutorials which emphasizes the use of the cold shot which is so important. Thank you!

It all depends on your hair type I recommend product to get the longest hold ♥️
I really love the color of your hair what’s the name of the color💖✨💫❣️
Thank you! I think it was crazy colour fire if you want red or if you want orange red it's tangerine dream by bleach London x
curious as to where your 90% dry rule comes from... The website says the hair only needs to be towel dry...
You are correct, the wetter the hair the better the curl 👌🏻

What temperature do you use? Mine gets SO hot and I have it in medium.

It just does not hold in the hair and I have spent a fortune in the expensive products you recommended. Help

Useless product in my opinion
Have you tried it? And why is it you find it useless?
