I believe it fixed a lot of my packet loss issue in FFXIV, still testing with the buffers value to see if it's going to help more and totally delete the issue. It only happens with that game and I've honestly tried everything at this point, even supposedly softwares to help with ping.
I've been having packet loss up to 10% after watching this video and following all steps my packet loss is 0% you are life saver man thank you so much.
My download speed was on 1 MBPS and now it's on 5-6 MBPS and I only changed the wifi settings which is in the end part of the video Thank you for this video

I did several tests on the pc using 3 programs: 1) tcp optmizer 2) mouse tester 3) latency monitor I have identified that changing the advanced settings of the network adapter has a direct impact on the quality of the mouse frequency, depending on the way you configure it, it can solve all trace problems. Also, it had a direct impact on the records of the shots in the games, I tested it mainly in valorant, depending on the settings the game can move faster or slower and affect the shots records. Finally, the network driver also affects system latency. could you do a video in depth on the settings of each element of the network driver and the impact it has on other devices such as the mouse, and the effects on the hitreg of games?
Isnt this only true if you dont have enough memory? I have read about that. Dont max out the transmit or receive buffers if you dont have enough memory aka ram.
And if you changed too much and you wana go back to default settings, all you need to do is uninstall the driver and then click “Action” and click “scan for hardware change” and it will auto scan and reinstall your network driver automatically with settings back to default.

Hi Adamx! I have a few questions. So first My receiver buffers can go to 512 but transmit buffers can only go to 128, which I find weird. I have a 1gig connection. Also should I set Speeds to 1gb? Had this problem today on a Realtek network card and the fix for me was to download the latest drivers directly from Realtek's website (even though Windows told me they were already up to date). Seems like Realtek's first drivers are messed up and they fix it in follow up updates.

Press Ctrl+F and type ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate It will be a folder but you can find "value" in there and just change it to 1 . First I was confused too, but the video like 3 years old so ye some stuff might have changed in windows so I was like I'm just gonna search it myself then. I hope it works actually.

This tutorial should also work for a wifi adapters
@@Phanntm unfortunately it doesn't. A lot of the settings are different because it deals with wireless signal settings and not hardwired ethernet.
