A few weeks back there was a home invasion in an affluent suburb in Detroit resulting in a murder. The two suspects posed as utility workers, shot the man and tied up his wife. So yes it happens, even in the 'nice' neighborhoods. I typically don't carry at home, but a safe is within reach. Doors are always locked, have 360 coverage with security cameras, and two alert dogs. If I do answer the door to a stranger, I am carrying. I try to answer thru the doorbell camera most of the time.
Sitting at my kitchen table watching this video. I`m not a paranoid person by any standard. I live in a rural area in a small town. I have a Glock model 22 .40 cal sitting on the table and a Rossi .38 sitting on my keurig coffee pot a few feet away. The norm for me , always has been.
excellent points, thank you.
Thanks Brother

Good job. Nothing to do with paranoid, this does happen everywhere so we need to be prepared.
I am like you, I carry every hour of every day that I am up and out of bed. When in bed, it is on the nightstand.
That is great Joe
