Totally smart play for that lie behind the tree. Took me years to give up the "Hero" shot and flip the ball back into the fairway. Handicap went down quite a bit when I stopped doing that stuff.. Excellent advice and video Coach Paige!

Would really love a video on putting. Specifically, how to judge the speed and line on long putts. It took me forever to come up with a way to determine just how much power I needed on the long putt to not leave it too short or too long to where sinking that 2nd putt was also difficult. In that 9 hole vlog you did last week, you were lights out with your putting, and when you missed, it was an easy tap in. Got any hacks to help reduce 3 putts? (asking for fellow higher handicap golfers)

I play a 3 and 4 hybrid, 3-wood, driver. My driver is $$$ so I almost always hit it off the tee.
Two weeks ago I played a course cut out of dense forest, a sharp dogleg par 4 needed 4 hybrid off the tee and 3 hybrid to the green... tough hole, tough course. Most holes, if you go in the trees, don't even bother looking for your ball unless you don't mind getting poison ivy or poison sumac.
