I played about 35 hours, four different campaigns. All of them ended with one faction steamrolling everyone else about 6-7 hours into the game, which basically ended the campaign since there is nothing to do except fight more looters and win random weapons at tournaments to kill looters more effectively.

Eh, don't think there exists a game engine out there that can support the 500 vs 500 battles that M&B needs.....
