+English Lessons with Alex (engVid AlexESLvid) Hello! What about "too"? for example: " I don`t like a cola! Me too!" In school i was learnt to use "too" for some cases but i`ve lost this cases)
+Михаил Коваленко Hi man, I'm not a native english speaker, but I think "me too" is for a positive agreement... According with your example it might be: "I Like a cola" (positive) R/ "yes, me too".... but also there are other ways to agree positively. Ex: ["I like a cola" R/ "So do I"]......["I am so tired" R/"So am i"]... If i'm wrong I appreciate someone to correct me.
I’m not that kind of person that loves commenting videos a lot - but I have to say that your lessons are really on the top- and there is a huge number of English learning videos out here on you tube. It seems to me that there must be something magical that distinguishes teachers... I’m going to put my grammar books to the waste now!
Oh thank you! I had never seen this point explained so clearly. I was used to "neither do I" and I didnt know the other two forms. Now it is clear and understood. Your tutorials are really great!
Good lesson, now I got how to use either / neither for showing the similar negative experiences. Thanks a lot. Alex, I am little bit confused with use of word nevertheless. Where can I find the video on it. Your advice for the same is appreciated.
I found this lesson particularly helpful. However, I do believe that the auxiliary is "DO" in the negative form rather than "DO NOT". Am I right? Thank you Alex!
Dear Alex, I would like to ask you a question about the usage of “either…or…” in negative sentences. Can we use this conjuction to link subjects? Could you give examples of sentences where this conjuction is used with diffent kins of members of the sentence. Thank you, Marina
+Анна И I think you mean like "Either Jan or Barry will be at the party." maybe?you can use the conjunctions with subjects, verbs, adjectives, anything! :D
Awesome explanation, very clear and good speech. But, please someone has a tip to help me increase my vocabulary ? I'm from Brazil, and it's very difficult for me do it.
Eles separam sim Silvio Dilkin. Se você olhar na home page da Engvid você vai ver. Ah,verdade mesmo sobre o Teacher James, tenho muita dificuldade de entender o que ele fala também (tipo,no máximo 70 à 80% do que ele fala só) porque ele é para alunos avançados e a Ronnie é para iniciantes. Muito muito fácil mesmo de entender ela, o Alex e o Adam. ;)
Mr Alex , can i use the past simple "( either negative or positive ) directly after "neither" ?? for example neither students nor professors did come today
thanks for this lesson, Mr. Alex! Could we also use either in giving choices. Say for example : You can either have your lunch by yourself or join with us. Thanks!
Sir alex, I'm a little confused on the sentence "I don't have a car." Why the word "have" in the sentence becomes the main verb? Please explain. Thank you so much
Hi, Teacher Alex! Could you, please, in another opportunity, tell us about Neither and Either in sentences like: They didn´t invite either of us to the party". Sometimes I know how to fit them in a sentence, but usually I'm not too confident (so I'm always modifying my sentences in order to avoid mistakes...) Thanks, teacher!
Hello, may I have a question: If I want to response to the statement: I don't like to drive., could I say: I like to drive neither? Thank you for response.
It is not about this class but the word is related... Could I say "nor of them" in the same meaning of "neither of them" when I refer to two things? Would it sound weird? My other question about "none", does "none" refer to more than two things and neither refers to only two things? Ex.: neither of them = two things , none of them = more than to things. Thank you.
Hi Alex, thank you for all your great lessons. I won't visit mom next month. Then my brother says (me neither - I won't either - Neither will I). Is this right?
please in this sentence " i wish i had never met you " if i answer " me too " i think it is ok as well as if i answer " so do i " but if i want to use either or neither, what might be the right answer " me either or me neither "?? as the main verb is " i wish , my answer is referred to i wish so i think i think the right one should be " me either !! thank you !
You can say "He/She doesn't either," "Neither does he/she," or "Him/Her neither." I hope this helps!
I want to practice speaking English with you I am from India,,,,, is there any way to
thank you SO much👍
@@safrazahmedfraz1621 shall we practice bro ?
I’m from srilanka
Sir could you please give some examples of how to form questions from neither and either?

Eu recomendo assistir as aulas da professora Ronnie. Ela também é da EngVid.com ... O pronuncia dela é mais fácil de entender.
