Icom ic751a ham radio

I don't know what's going on with this radio it seems like when I put the cover on that's when the problem happens but it has an intermittent receive problem on Lower sideband only

I had a IC765 in mint condition and sold it a couple years ago.Had all the filters etc.Still have a IC 751A that is in mint condition but must have taken a surge and ie not working.Never tried to have it repaired so not sure what it needs.I bought both of these radios new in 1993.Yes they are both great radios for sure.

Definitely should have kept 765 and got rid of 751a. 765 doesn't have volitile ram. If i get mine fixed i will probably sell it. I dont have the patience for troubleshooting anymore 😪
