- The final season of Game of Thrones premieres April 14th, and I'm already sad to see the series end. On the eve of its premiere weekend, let's try out a few of Dany's last braided hairstyles.
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Hair Length: at least mid back
Materials: small hair elastics, bobby pins, hair tie
Skills needed: Dutch lace braid
Time cost: 20-45 minutes
ideal hair type: straight or wavy

Season 8 Emilia Clarke: Oh my God, get this led weight off of my head.
Seriously, all of that extra hair must have been really heavy.
You are literally the only reason I still have my long hair, even if its fine and tangly and usually annoying - because everytime I wanna feel like a badass fantasy queen, all I need is your channel and back catalogue and it always works perfectly! Literally would use no other tutorial ever - thankyou!!

I used this channel for my wedding hair (was medieval themed) I sadly cut my hair super short afterwards and am working on growing it back out so I can do this again

Thank you for doing these styles! My hair is hip long but with a little tweaking I can do most of these styles and the hubby loves it as do I.They add to date night because he can see the work that goes into them.Yes I tell people where I learned them if they compliment my hair.

Here's a throwback to a *really* old-school movie. In the classic silent film Sunrise, Janet Gaynor wore a wig that had a thick, complicated braided bun at the back. It looks doable, especially with how long her hair is when her hair is shown to be down, presumably with another wig. I'd love to see you do that one, since I can't quite figure out how to do it on my own hair.

These Daenerys hairstyles seem particularly insane to me because in her most recent appearance in the books, Dany is bald. She's straight-up bald, because Drogon burnt her hair off.

It had been the same in Daznak's Pit" (ADWD p. 932), and "The sun grew hotter as it rose, and before long her head was pounding. Dany's hair was growing out again, but slowly. 'I need a hat,' she said aloud" (ADWD p. 933).
@The Pornographer maybe. I don't know, but I do know that if she is, it's only her; it's not a universal Targaryen thing.
As game of thrones is ending...have you ever considered any of the hairstyles from Into The Badlands?

So I have a question for you that is somewhat unrelated to this video but I figured I'd ask here since this is your most recent upload. I have been trying to teach myself to braid my own hair and the biggest impediment to my progress is that for the life of me I cannot keep the strands neat while braiding as in after an iteration or two of a braid the strands will have lost most of their structure becoming frazzled etc. I have more success if I wet my hair first so it sticks together but I don't want to have to soak my hair every time I want to braid it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
A bit of oil or lightweight gel on your fingers or the strands might be the ticket; just to get you started.

I'm rewatching season 4 & holyshit it breaks my heart every time I see her. Spoiler alert just don't bother with season 8. Let's just pretend her & Jon live happily ever after & furthering the Targaryen blood line & they find dragon eggs that rhaegon & drogon laid. Let's just pretend ok. Let's just do that. Everything's fine.
I wholeheartedly agree. I don't think I could cope with a rewatch, I didn't even recognise Dany in the latter half of 8. I have some additions to your story: they never find out they are aunt and nephew, Kings landing is fine, it's all fine, and all dragons, more dragons. No lonely Drogon. No. Not happening.
Those are more like "hack" version, but i love them.
I feel like the show's hair stylists hate us and the cast equally.
