article 9: proof of ownership or Rights in land.
4. Proof of ownership of customary land shall consist of any competent evidence including oral testimony showing a verifiable longstanding relationship with or ties to the community claiming ownership of the particular customary land. However, Under no circumstances shall the ownership of customary land be denied because of a failure by the community to produce documentary evidence in support of the claim.
A community may, in lieu of a confirmatory survey, enter into stipulations with one or more community or private person in determining the boundaries of its customary land.
