I want to setup this on my azure linux(Ubuntu LTS) vm and its running on port 22 ,so is it necessary to have port 25 on it? Please tell me, thanks

The Azure platform blocks outbound SMTP connections on TCP port 25 for deployed VMs.
so bcoz of this you can not host mail server on it .

its not up to you , its blocked from Azure ,
but if request to Unblock and if they allow then , it will work
