It was great seeing your dad picking on you about not your tractor next to his. I'm guessing but it looks like about a $50,000. machine. Good start Tara.
Gd morning Tara hope you doing good how are you feeling after your heart procedure you had now that you have had ur grapes harvested and u helped ur dad cut corn I hope you can slow down some and get some rest and pamper yourself ok I'm closing take care and I love you
Do you know about the Carl Moyer program where you can get grant money to trade in older diesel tractors for newer tractors with Tier 4 engines? Check with your local air district for information if necessary. It looks like your Little Blue is a T4 but you dad may be interested for future replacement at some point.
I’m new to your channel. I seen you on one of Meredith’s videos. I really like your family’s older International IH tractors. Hope you and your family are having a wonderful day.
Glad to see that Ya'll are getting some rain. WOW, No tow hooks, That is a first for me seeing that. Congratulations on the New tractor... Shiny and new, Look at you. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, But my Grand Mother use to move her new Chickens when it was dark out, Same reason you are . Just a thought. Enjoy your new toy.
Congrats on the new tractor, Tara. I still remember my first tractor. It's a Massey Ferguson 1100 and I still have it. I have now retired, but I kept my Massey for taking care of the property. You'll never forget your first tractor. I loved the video and wish you the best during rainy season.
I was watching this and had to laugh. Your dad is just like my dad. I’d come home from UC Davis and he’d say, “want to do some digging.” So I know what that’s like.
Congrats on the your Baby Blue Tractor....Holland Rocks! Glad that the one Hen is getting better! Have fun in Nebraska next week with all your fellow Farmers and Friends! Stay Strong in the mud! Cheers From Ohio
I am from Iowa. It has been a very difficult harvest season this year. We had a very wet and late spring. Add to that, we had an unusually wet summer. Then we had a very wet fall and as of yesterday, the crop reports say that the corn is about 92% harvested. Enjoyed the video. I feel for the truck driver. I was driving my semi on ice here yesterday. We have some pretty big hills so at one point I just pulled to the side and waited for the plow truck to sand the hill in front of me. While I was waiting with my flashers on, a woman comes flying down the road. I managed to get her stopped and told her that the hill she was about to go down was 100% ice covered. She told me that she had all wheel drive. You can't make this stuff up and you can't fix it. Not even with duct tape. God help us.
Awesome video Tara love the way you videoed everyday journeys this one is the best. I think so anyway and tell your dad he is a natural when it comes to videoing he did a great job at it
I remember in 1996 I worked for a Ford Ag dealership. Was changing from Ford to New Holland at the time. Here in Indiana we had a few vineyards more now. Realizing that I had vineyards in my area I started researching our lineup of tractors for vineyards. I was pumped to try and sell them but unfortunately for personal, (I was married at the time), I had to go back to my old job. I always wondered if it would have sold or not. The vineyards have grown a lot since them. Those particular tractors are so well suited for wine growers. Wish you the best for your new vineyard and your new tractor. New Holland makes great equipment.
I have the same model newer IH Prostar LT and all these new trucks come with removable tow hooks that slide in the holes in the bumper. Freightliner has a stow mount on the chassis frame behind the RH steer tire.
Congratulations on the new to you tractor. It's a big step in your journey. Dealer support is honestly all that matters. All of the brands do the same basic work. If you can't gets parts easily or service quickly then the machine is an expensive boat anchor in the yard while you borrow or rent another machine to do the work.
I’m a new sub living in Southern California. My wife and I will be buying our first bit of land in the Texas Hill Country soon. Thinking of starting a UA-cam channel to document the transition from Cali city life to Texas country life. God bless.

That was close to 60 years ago his operation was wiped out. That was before they were too concerned about bio-security on the Farm...I have a friend who is a heritage Hog Breeder and he says if a human has a cold or the flu hogs can be infected
A newbe here. How many HP is your new tractor? I think just some pink stripes or highlights would be great, and still fit the blue NH theme on the farm.
A new truck like that has push and turn hooks that facilitate towing of them. BTW, CenCal farmer of dairy cow chow(corn silage) and winter forage to support two 500 cow dairies each. On the north side of 65 and still learning new ways to farm.
Super steer equipped that should help working in the tight areas of the Vineyard!! I have a New Holland TC24D Compact tractor and love it I us it to bale hay with an old John Deere 24T baler.
Ok just found this and enjoyed it. The truck got stuck easily due to him having the forklift on the back of his trailer. Although we are Massey Ferguson folks my very own first tractor was also a New Holland. Love to see those double wheel tractors we don't have those out here as most of the gateways in our part of the world are only 12 feet wide! With kind regards from The Peak District National Park in the UK.
Dolk Tractor is a great outfit. I bought my Kubota L2501 (new) from Tony and he also gave me a good deal on a Land Pride brush hog and Quick Attach. I asked him if he could give me free shipping to Concord since I'm a 'Nam vet (2 yrs in Army Signal Corps in 'Nam). He was more than happy to do that. Great guy and I am going to buy more attachments from him. Glad you bought your NH from Dolk. Support the family owned businesses. Cheers!
Reminds me of an old joke. I'll try to update the numbers a bit. Lady gets lost on a dirt road in her Cadillac and ends up getting stuck. She gets out, and walks through the mud in her fancy shoes to the nearest farm house asking for help. He fires up his old tractor, grabs a chain and goes to pull her out. Once he get there, gets down, pulls the chain over to her car and starts to hook it up. Now this lady is a city slicker, and she's really, I mean really proud of her brand new, got every possible gadget Cadillac, she suddenly starts getting upset and finally yells "You're not going to hook that old tractor to my $80,000 car are you!? The farmer stops, looks at her, puts the chain back on the tractor and starts to get on it to leave. Then she yells at him wanting to know what he's doing, why he's leaving ? He simply moves his tobacco to the other side of his mouth, looks at her and reply's "No Mam', I don't think I will hook my $200,000 tractor to your little $80,000 car."
If that wasn't the face of a little girl getting what she wanted for Christmas! I think leave the tractor blue to go with the others and paint the wheels pink.

u should dig drainage ditch along the road. That what actually every road supposed to have, to drain the water off.
if you open the hood and look at the frame you'll see a set of hooks that go into the holes in the bumper and hook to the frame
Congratulations. Nice tractor..love the videos..
Awesome tractor, love your NH's and would like to see the T4 in the vineyard
You need a few tandem dump trucks to haul rock back there before that mud strip is considered something to drive on.
That tractor is a beast?
Nice Rooster
