Thanks for your calculations and especially the explanation thereof. I used to relyonlu on iron lung. After your video, i gave rpk strained a chance and i am very happy with the result. On striker i didnt like using an lmg, i cant keep my stacks. On a high end dps build, i am very happy. Thanks a ton
Terrific work! I didn't understand everything since I'm French but I understood the essentials. Your video and your table were finally able to help me decide for an LMG. Excellent work, I will subscribe without hesitation.
It seems really odd that the weapons introduced later in the games life have sunk to the bottom of the dps ranks or are mediocre and have significant down sides - the stoner introduced with zoo fixed talent and muzzle mod Gr9 inability to use link laser for consistent flatline proc also late AR's Sig 556/ C7 / TKB have ended up in the dumpster still i guess they are now in keeping with most of the gear/brand sets released post tu12 (hotshots /heartbreaker excepted). whats the spread in terms of DPS from top to bottom DoD previously said AR family was about 10% wondering what the changes have done to either narrow or widen the gap for LMG /AR's
after smgs i am going to make a combined list of the auto weapons, with the better contenders all compared, and it will be a video aswell, what i can already tell you is that something like a f2000 with fasthands is 8-ish% burst dps behind of a rpk , and 13% behind on sustain dps, there is still offcourse the better accuracy and ability to use shields for ARs, and lmgs suppresion mechanics are annoying, but that is quite a gap dps wise
I prefer Negotiators when running LMGs, just because of the suppress dynamic. I'm yet to test out the overall feel on whether its better with the Negotiators BP still, or is The Backbone the better option now.
ND is pretty good for LMGs, and my ND Recommend #1 in the recommended folder is going to go to LMG aswell, it just fits with ND so well and now it is worthwhile damage wise aswell here i am going striker to start with because at the end of the 3 auto weapon types, i am going to make a combined list, so i wanted a build that would align with all three. ND bp is pretty good still, it basically comes to if you are really going for the spread dmg and if the content allows for it. if you want a little more single point dmg you can go other choices, but i would mostly go grupo with vigi, although, the backbone is technically a bit more dmg fully stacked, but that is 5 kills in, so again depends more on the content, not great for short activities, pretty good for longer fights.
i should have tried to make it more clear after having rewatched the vid, with maybe a extra field with the third stat, and i might still add that later on to that sheet sometime in the future. but yes, as a rule it can be said that any weapon that is at 15% chc from mods, it will be with ROF third stat, if it is 10% chc from mods or below, either by not having the modslots or by need the slot for the techlaser, then it is CHC as the third stat.
its not enough is the short of it, the tick is once per second, meaning whatever amount it is you can just add it onto the calculated build dps, it ends up at even full stacks way below other weapons. while the tick ofcourse deals its own damage and jumps around and can hit enemies even when you cant, its not enough to offset the large loss of dps you incur, and in actual use it just ends up slower and weaker than just killing them with more potent weapons.
as crooner said, they are the same for dmg, rof, and all the other dmg factors, and the difference is in a tiny amount more stability on the Custom L86, it is noticable but not a gamechanger. one other difference is that the custom does have a long rail so you can go with a technicians pulsse laser, the mil l86 only has a short rail.
Please, sir, do continue!!! Excellent content. Thank you.

Awesome video and great job explaining this subject to everyone
Justice for Pesti!
waited for this 😊 as lmg lover
Thank you, Ikia!
Great work as usual!

So we can say this as a general rule : 2 crit mods weps and flatline ones has crit 3th stat ? Others rate of fire 3th. Am i correct ?

Can you please comment on the Pestilence assuming maximum tics?

Bravo
Bullet king with negotiation dilemma is really effective and fun
55:46 stoner. Great name indeed! 😅
Is there any difference between the military and custom l86? Do they provide the same numbers on your sheet?
They do same but custom l86 has little more stability afaik
