We were able to win the Championship without Ronald before. No offense to our Ace! But we need to keep it going for the fans and the whole team.

Let's not forget Sale and Lopez. Glad Fried has found his groove after a horrendous first 2 outings. Ozuna has been an offensive machine that has been maximus clutch so far this season.

Good win for the Bravos tonight, Max Fried has shown again why the Braves will likely have to dig deep into their pockets to keep him, think the Baseball gods for Max, Sale and Lopez and so NOW........how about puttting together a little winning streak, get some consistency going, and kudos to the Big Bear for that super missile, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!!
Fried is gone, bro. There is no doubt the Braves already offered him a deal, and he rejected it because he wants way more than AA is going to give him. He is going to test the market, and Max will definitely get a big deal, and he knows it. There is no way we didn't already offer him a deal, and he didn't sign any extension for a reason. It's the money. Dansby walked for more money, and Max is likely headed in the same direction. I'm just reading the writing on the wall here.

@@jb4054Thinking more on it as it doesn't appear likely Alex A. will be able to resign Fried, he may put 'a rabbit out of his hat' with a compromise and come to an agreement with Max ( you never know ) not saying that that will happen as you are likely right but I still haven't given up hope yet, at least Ozuna has reportedly been asking for an extension.
@@lawrencescott1048Extensions are one thing, but a new, big contract isn’t how AA operates. I agree with the other commenters. I mean, look at Freddie, Dansby, Eddie. Alex will let them go sign elsewhere and find someone as close in talent as possible for a cheaper price. Charlie Morton has been taking those reasonable, one-year deals. Thank goodness! I will be pleasantly surprised if Max resigns here, but flabbergasted if it happens.
@Ernwaldo As I've said I don't look for it to happen just engaging in wishful thinking, it wouldn't hurt my feeling's at all if he didn't offer Charlie Morton another contract deal, the truth is that players in all sports are just too greedy but if someone is willing to pay them what they want then so be it.

Despite an 0-4 Night, and Leaving 4 Men on Base, The Braves got ALL the Scoring they needed in the 7th!
+ OF COURSE IT HAD TO BE THE BIG BEAR TO JUMP-START IT ALL! 1-4 with the GAME-DECISIVE SOLO SUPER MISSILE INTO THE LEFT-CENTER FIELD SEATS! Ozuna Stands in with a .309 Average, 1.004 OPS, and 16 Homers on the Season!
+ Not the Best Night for Kelenic, but he CONTRIBUTED WHEN IT MATTERED! 0-2 with a CRITICAL RBI Sacrifice Fly in the 7th! Kelenic holds onto a .254 Average with an OPS of .675!
- OTHER NOTABLES: Olson had a Good Night, Going 1-3 and Scoring the 2nd Run of the Game. Albies, Murphy, and Duvall were the ONLY other Braves to Record a Hit. Michael Harris II, Despite going 0-2, was Walked TWICE, while Albies Walked Once. Riley and Arcia each had 0'fer Nights, with Riley taking the BRUNT of it, going 0-4 with 3 Ks.
+ A NEEDED TEXTBOOK VICTORY FOR THE BRAVOS! Fried and Iglesias were FANTASTIC, The Defense was SOLID, and the Offense got ALL THE RUNS IT NEEDED IN THE 7TH! Not the Prettiest of Wins by ANY Definition, but one I'm MORE than happy to take!

Schwellenbach is the Braves #3 Prospect, Drafted in the 2nd Round of the 2021 MLB Draft Out of the University of Nebraska, Possesses a Mid-90's Fastball with a SAVAGE Slider that Averages in the Mid-80's, along with a Slower Curve that can be DEVASTATINGLY EFFECTIVE.
Initially, he was primarily a Hitter and Infielder during his College Years, but Took Up Pitching in 2021 and Won the John Olerud Award for Best Two-Way Player in College Ball, which convinced the Braves to give him a Chance and Draft Him, Despite having to undergo the Dreaded Tommy John Surgery just after signing.
I got to see him for a BRIEF Period in Single-A Augusta, where he went 4-2, but had a ERA of 2.63, Which Included an EXCELLENT Outing against the Charleston RiverDogs, where he SILENCED them for 6 Innings, Allowing just 4 Hits and 1 Walk while Striking out 4 on May 31st, 2023.
To See Him go from Single A to the Majors in JUST 2 Years is INCREDIBLE, and I'll be Rooting and Praying for his Success against the Nationals!

Not a lot of offense, but Max pitched quite well, and the Braves found a way to win. Thankfully the Phillies were shut out 1 to nothing, and so the Braves pick up a game and are now 5 games back.
Once again having to pitch a shutout for a victory. Everybody say thank you Max!

It's just remarkable that the Braves have 9 shutouts so far this season, that tells you just how good this organization really is...they just have to work around Acuna and Strider being out for the rest of the season.
I gotta admit a couple of years ago when Ozuna was a mess I was hoping the Braves would trade him but instead they stuck with him and he turned it around last year and he's doing great this year so far.

Good win today thanks to max. Offense looked bad as usual. Ozuna and darnaud have carried the team this year and we need both of them to stay competitive. Big bear to right or left field. Duvall/Kelenic in the other. Travis DH. Can’t let the second best hitter on the team rn ride the bench. I believe the best is yet to come for this team. Chop on🪓

Another win where the braves relied heavily on pitching and only scored 2 runs. They can’t go on like this. They have to start scoring more runs.
Actually, they can and we are set up well for the playoffs. Pitching and defense wins championships. Sale, Fried, and Lopez are a great 1,2,3 punch. And if playoff Charlie shows up, watch out.
This team will be fine and I'm sure AA has a trick or 2 up his sleeve this summer

I’m really depressed with how good Max is pitching. At this rate, we’re going to have to pay him a boatload of money, and based on the past, we’re not going to. Instead, he’s going to go to the Dodgers or the Yankees. Every silver lining has a cloud. And I’m only half joking.
Most shut outs in the league but still only averaging 3 runs a game. I thought this offense was stacked but I guess not

Braves won but these double digit strikeouts are getting really old from Braves hitters. Braves need to figure something out with this lack luster offense or it's going to be a long year
The Braves need to get a player that is going to bring some 🔥 to this team like Joc did in 2021 because they are really BORING and don't have the "it" factor to win it all. Who will that player be this year?
Well with Olson heating up, Ozuna clubbing homers, Murphy returning, Kelenic quietly being elite, and Riley and Harris due for a streak we should have that it factor.
@@GavinTilling None of those players inspire the others to win like Joc did. We need that again because winning regular season games is different than having that spark in the playoffs. We don't have anyone who has that leader quality right now.

Snitker is horrible and so is the hitting coach. It was Chipper that had the boy hitting lights out last year, now he is gone and look at the difference.
Even the year they won it all in 21 they stuggled the whole year they had to go get not one or two but 4 offensive bats to win. Snitker had that great lineup and could not get them playing ball. It was the guys that were not under the hitting coach all year that contributed, Rosario, Pederson, Soler, Duvall. Snitker is the worse coach they ever had.
