Gotta love the D-Mo show! He's been such a spark plug for us. He's quick and versatile, so when he hits he's at an all-star level. I saw him in Colorado this year make some incredible plays at 2B to keep the game a 1-1 tie until the 10th. I thought we were going to take a step back with Crawford out but D-Mo has allowed us to stay right in this thing. Go M's!
He's lowkey hitting way better than JP was too, can't wait to have him back, but with D-Mo hitting like this so far we can't afford to not have him in the lineup when you see the rest of our offense...
I feel like the Mariners have historically pulled the plug on guys like this too early and then we've had to watch them hit their stride for other organizations. I'm really glad that we've kept Dmo around and I think he's a legit player.
@@paulpickerell1800 Jake Fraley, Tyler O’Neil, I know Ben gamel fell off but he looked like he was another one for a couple years. There are more those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
I love D-Mo's "get off" speed once he hits that ball! I bet he is always thinking of getting to 2B, unless it's an obvious single. I LOVE my Mariners! LET's GOOO!!! TRIDENTS UP!!🔱🔱⚾💚💙
On his grandslam against the stros in 2021 I tried to hurdle over my couch at my parents house and my pants and underwear came off I landed on the hardwood floor as goldsmiths voice was cracking 😅 😂😂
All I've seen is a bunch of haters that's crushing everyone that's so call "terrible" but let me see you do better than what the "trash" hitters! It's easy for people to complain about it but i haven't seen you guys go and take actual at bats against these pitchers! Until you do don't complain about other people's lack of production.
What hot start was that? What is his high water mark for batting average? Maybe .230 tops? He's still a .207 hitter. Interviewing him like he's accomplished something, or as if he's a competent Shortstop... it's just not true. He's below average at SS and at most other positions too. He's below average at the plate. He's a decent baserunner and that's it. But he's nice and charismatic. He's never been hot for more than a few days. And like he said, he doesn't know why he has good days now and then.
$8,875,000 over 3 years! One of the best values in the entire MLB! So happy Dipoto and Hollander did right by him. The epitome of what hard work and always being a team player can do. He can flash the leather anywhere in t3drld and infield. If D-Mo continues to put it all together at the dish he, could be a GREAT super utility player!!! KEEP THE SHIP SAILING D-MO!!!
He's a dummy. "I'm looking fastball all the time" He's a strikeout 33% of the time with that approach. God, I wish he played for any other organization!
Consider this after calling him a "backup utility man": Canzone has played 18 games JP has played 22 games Urias has played 31 games Raley has played 36 games D-Mo has played 37 games this year. Rojas has only played 38 games, so let that sink in. Yes I'm aware he may be a backup utility man normally but if he keeps hitting like this for an extended period of time I would rather have him out there than a lot of our other choices on offense. He HAS had a relatively hot start. He's leading our team in doubles and triples, has 4 homers (sad that thats good enough for 5th on our team, but its true) and is 3rd on our team in RBIs. Dude is a crucial part of our offense so far.
Calling Dylan Moore a "backup utility man" is kind of like calling Bob Marley an occasional pot smoker. Think about this. Rich Amaral, in his rookie year at age 31, actually got enough plate appearances to qualify to be listed among the league leaders in a couple of categories. The term utility man is being much too overused, just like the term "communist socialist fascist" by those on the Reich wingnut side of the aisle. Moore was playing more than a utility player even before Crawford went down to injury. He, like Amaral, would be more aptly characterized by the term "Mr. Everything" than utility man. Moore can play any position and has already played every spot other than the catcher and pitcher. I think he could strap on the gear if you asked him to. I really think if you wanted him to, you could put him on the bump, and he would be able to perform. That's not a utility man. That's a team player, and Mr. Everything. I would suggest that you quit being an ignorant ass and get with the program. Furthermore, by definition, a utility man is a "backup." Calling him a backup utility man is calling him a backup backup. That's stupid and redundant. Furthermore, Rojas is not a utility man. He is one side of a platoon. The same is true for the three-headed outfield platoon of Raley, Haniger and Canzone. Would you care to try that again, this time using the poor excuse for a brain you claim to have?
I'm happy that Dylan Moore is playing the best baseball of his career right now, and for karma purposes, I'm committed to not saying anything negative about him this season... But what "hot" start are we talking about? Is it possible we've forgotten what "hot" looks like because our offense has been so bad for so long? Here's a hint, though: Luke Raley has been "hot" for real lately. His average has climbed to over .300. Dylan plays average defense at a lot of positions. That's good, but he's not great at any of them. And he's a below average hitter with average power and good speed. His average is climbing up towards .230 which makes him the 4th or 5th best hitter in this very non-productive lineup. Please, Mariners fans, I don't want to be negative about Dylan, but if I'm going to stay optimistic, you can't be wildly unrealistic. It's not accurate to fluff him up like he's an All-Star caliber player. He's having a season where his contributions help sometimes, mostly because this offense is that bad. I'm happy for him, but let's not pretend he's a hero or an icon or anything like that. He's a journeyman ballplayer who is contributing by having a semi-average season. Here's to Dylan continuing to contribute!
.310 Last 9 games with 8RBI (2HR). He struggled getting an at bat here or there at the start of the year, playing very few innings but since playing regularly he has been above average.
Mariners catcher is THE worst at giving the target to his pitchers. Its always LATE and his quick movements as the pitcher is focused on hitting his spot is distracting to his pitchers and causing them to make MORE mistakes. He should be PERMANENTLY assigned to Tacoma and never be allowed in the show ever again! 🤡🤡🤡

Since beginning of last season. Don't think this season is helping that stat for him much.
It's weird that I had a dream about this. Anyway go D-Mo, Go M's!
He plays excellent defense at multiple positions and does have a decent bat. Every team needs guys like that. Glad he’s a Mariner
He is fun to watch.

Go mariners!
Love me some D-Mo ❤😊

Let’s go dmo. I wish haggerty would turn it on and I think we would have a team.
Dylan Moore needs to start at 3rd base and in lineup everyday.
Why did Seattle trade Kelenic
Luke Raley is the hottest Mariner right now. And he also has some defensive versatility being able to play above average D at both corners and 1B.

If M's can get two more bats somehow they will go deep into the playoffs, if they wait too long will probably be in same situation as last two years.
