Found factory Fuel Connection Tool too tight to release the connectors. Debated using my tongue, as you indicated. However, I went with plastic prybars (trim tools) to release the connectors without damaging the spring latch.
Hey man, awesome video. To-the-point and well explained! Does the entire filter always need to be replaced entirely or is there a filter element inside that can be changed instead?
Maybe. But since this is a daily driver, additional performance is not really necessary, plus, in central Europe we have really strict laws with modifications -> registration can be easily rejected because of an aftermarket mod.
Air filter needs changing every 20k mike's if not sooner. It's really simple and quick to change it. Filters job is to be sure enough and clean fuel is going to the engine. It is a filter after all. If you neglect it, you will not realize it because the drop happeovery very slowly in time. A new filter gives a bit better fuel economy and better performance compared to an old one but the most important is that clean fuel means better and cleaner explosions which means better lifetime for the engine..
Dead on! Thank you so much for putting this content out there. Your videos have been such a help!!
Nice video as well, thanks. I noticed that you painted your brakes, nice.
Absolutely spot on! Thanks
Great video made it a 10 minute job thanks very much!

Merci pour ce tuto parfait
Nice work!
Many thanks
Please mention why you didn't prime the filter ?
Is the priming process only for diesel cars?

You need to replace the whole part, cannot take the filter apart.
Like a charm lol
Hi, are you going to do some mods to your TT? Like exaust, grill....

How often should I be changing my fuel filter?
For petrol, there is no required maintenance per milage. So change it only if it is necessary.
Can you explain why you had to change the filter? Did you notice something.
Good job btw, as always

Well its 12 years old car and the fuel filter was never replaced. This was a preventive. On TDI engines it should be replaced every 90.000 km.
