By this logic, the most improved from one mr. Olympia to another will be crowned champion. He said it multiple times. Hadi won all front poses and even side ones hands down (Derek's stomach was extending a little bit, Hadis was super tight). He even mentioned that Dereks legs from the front were superior to Hadi's?!@. Derek's super detailed from the back, but let's face it: he's way too washed out from the front. Unless they've changed their judging criteria now: that you should be symmetrical without details. They keep coming up with weird excuses every time there is controversy...maybe they need to announce it in advance so competitors can work on it and stop these controversial decisions..oh wait they can't, they need a window to escape from, when they choose someone who doesn't deserve the win. By the way, I wanted Andrew Jacked to win, that's the physique that my eyes are always drawn to. But in that top 3, Hadi was winning by a landslide. Even BB professionals who were attending had confirmed that. Mr. Olympia is no longer a fair competition.

Have you even watched the video ? He clearly stated that the 2 poses that flipped for him were the side poses due to Derek having 1- better flow in both side poses, 2 - better legs and leg detail in side poses, 3 - better arm and shoulder detail, 4 - better width. These points are the consequence of Derek improving his Arms, Shoulders and detail. While Hadi had better midsection detail and chest which clearly wasn’t enough to win by the subjective criteria of each pose.
Him winning those poses was the consequence of him improving in the judging criteria enough to win those poses and make it stronger poses than Hadi’s.
He clearly stated that this years Derek had poses that were 5 to 3 stronger than this years Hadi while last years Derek had poses that were 3 to 5 weaker than last years Hadi. Nothing controversial here, he explained everything in enough detail for child to understand

This comment section makes me laugh man… people not understanding that Derek didn’t win because “he made more improvements than Hadi” but he won because in consequence of his improvements he was the better bodybuilder that day on that stage in 5 of the 8 mandatory poses.
He gave you simple explanation: Derek clearly won 3 poses, Hadi clearly won 3 poses. Tie breaker were side poses and Derek won because he had 1- better flow from the side, 2 - better legs and leg detail, 3- better Arms and shoulders from the side and detail in those areas, 4 - better width. I do not agree woth the front double or side chest going to Derek at all. Dereks lats are shot up, his arms are weaker than Hadi's, his legs are more symmetrical but still way weaker than Hadi's. In the side chest something you even mentioned the waist has to be in tight and Derek's isnt. His chest, shoulder and arms are all improved but still way weaker than Hadi's.
Then I have Hadi in a close second on the rear lat spread, side tricep and the only pose he really looses a lot in is the back double. But Hadi destroys Derek in the most muscular and ab and thigh...
