      It happened last Saturday, I was on a ride to another festival when I saw the event from Lekki-Ikoyi bridge where our bus was stuck in traffic.

    if they want more tourists, they should fix issues with visa's for travelers, visa on arrival is still a headache at best. airport finally has been facelifted and looks modern.

      Do you offer visa on arrival for your country???

    • @seanmcquinn9603
      @seanmcquinn9603 19 днів тому

      Yes that's true. Most tourist countries offer visa on arrival. Like Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines Cambodia, and even many countries in Africa like Egypt Ethiopia Gambia and many more

      Truth is Nigeria has not really tapped into its tourism sector which is a shame bcos the country has so much culture, history, natural beauty to draw in millions of tourists yearly....and its all due to the oil- as soon as oil was discovered in Nigeria, every other sector was neglected as so much easy money was being made from the crude.
      But the govt is waking up to the potential of tourism for more revenue, and the country has so much to offer in that sector

    Finally, govt is listening to the people now; Lagos has what it takes to become a global tourist hub using its natural aquatic resources....Dubai created man made lakes which draw tourists yet Lagos/Nigeria has so many natural ones left unutilised which can be used for eco tourism that's the trend now

    WHY IS DW PROMOTING TOURISM TO KNOWN EXTREME DANGER SPOTS
    The Smart traveller (world travel adviser) advises
    - Reconsider your need to travel to Nigeria overall due to the volatile security situation and threat of terrorism, kidnapping, violent crime and the risk of civil unrest.
    Higher levels apply.
    Mostly each country has a travel advisory service, check those, the stories the same
