What poltics has learned me is, that if ordinary black leaders are given the opportunity to lead and then fail dismally, they always think they can start their own political party..

To agree with BEEEE and BLM is like agreeing with racisim as favouring one race above others creates divisions among citizins within our country.
Let us be open and up front about what is best for the people.
Never like Helen Zille before but I like this Helen Zille. We cant bow down to the mob we need a conservative voice we need Helen.
You are an individual - you are not conservative or liberal, left or right. You have a set of unique values which straddle political, economic and social boundaries and you should apply them as such. That is the only way you can defeat tribalism.
She learnt from her mistake but it's a shame she didn't know this at the time. That was four years ago. Only now is the DA finally showing some back bone and balls.
As Zille is talking I am busy scrolling down the opinion of the people. It seems there is still a big gap between black and white of South Africa. In short the hate, understanding and disrespect is still there and I am sad that we will die and live this mess for the generations to come.
So withdraw the Apology,you did nothing wrong.

Never meet an opponent half way on their own ground, you create a situation where you need to fight deep within enemy territory. On the other hand, if you refuse to legitimise the enemy's grounds they will have to meet you halfway on your grounds. Compromises cause you to become compromised, as the DA demonstrated...
Well said. The DA is compromised but it can always make a come back.

the tragedy of this is that HZ (for whom i have no time) will be taking all the white colonials from rondebosch and environs away from the DA. so that is the end of the DA as the main opposition party (again for whom i have no time). so this will be handing the opposition to the EFF. as regards her view on colonialism - please watch "exterminate all the brutes" - a devasting new four part HBO series on european colonialism and genocide. and next time you in Brussels visit the recently refurbished african museum to learn about what europeans did in africa -www.africamuseum.be/en

I suspect you haven't read it yet so forming an uneducated opinion without reading is preemptive and stupid and completely without grounds. If you feel she is an enemy, perhaps reading her book helps to 'know' your enemy or maybe change your perceptions. What are you afraid of? I for one would love to read her book but can't at present afford to buy it. I wish her the best in her endeavours.
