I am getting around to some of your older lessons.. This is SO cool! It brings me back to the 60s when the garage band I played around with did this song.. We did an extended version of it with the guy on bass playing lead like the Ox and a drum solo that went on as long and far as one could see... I threw in the chords to provide the path in that long jamming period between the opening and closing done with lyrics.. Oh the flood of memories!!! THANK YOU!!!

Very good lesson! You always break it down to make it easy to understand. I understand... now to get my brain and hands to work in unison. So the videos on progressive chords had a purpose or how does that saying go, the means to an end?? Or something like that. E chord, up the neck, E chord down the neck...old time rock and roll!

Thanks Eric can't believe only 300 likes. Townshend thought this would be the number one song he ever wrote. He held it back for a year and a half and I think number 10 was its high point. Did you know one of the iconic bands of the 60s and 70s never made it past number 2 My Generation, they had great Albums, The Quad, Tommy and Who's Next all brilliant, I have seen them 3 times live and they were and still are great Live. Tamer now but the music transcends time
