This isn’t caring or looking after the Gambian people, this is bullying and harassment by a government. They are more needing to concentrate on more important issues. These buildings are far back from the roadside, How can any government not care how generations of Gambians have survived and made a living for a long time and still do, but the government destroys their means to survive. The condition they leave these canopies in is really dangerous ( No other country would allow this as it’s a health and safety issue)

I understand that you can’t build on roads but there is a way of doing things without the brutal way the government are carrying these operations out and leaving buildings in dangerous conditions.
