Not a G shock fan,tbh, as always found them ‘too thick’. This one is way better, with its thinner case. Bought one when they came out a couple of years ago. Great watch and goes with me everywhere. All the best .👍🏾🇬🇧
Definitely will be picking up the Gray version when my Christmas gifts (hint its money to buy watches) come in ... as well as a sunburst red dial Orient Kamasu. Ok that blue and gray looks stunning too ... didn't know it existed.

I agree with this as I own it but it really looks good in the daylight in my opinion, however I intend to own at least 3 color ways of this watch because I really like it
I wish they made a tough solar version of this watch. Since they didn’t. I got me a GAS-100 from gshock, a better strap with a steel tang, it is tough solar, it has a more recessed glass so less chances of scratches and still all the same features.
I really like mine. I added a sapphire crystal, loomed markers and a Combi bracelet to it. Over kill, probably lol but it was fun. BTW, you seemed to make it much more complicated than it really is, I own it and didn’t follow what you were saying. Maybe it was just me. 😂
I don't get it. This is just the GA-150. I'd get it if this was solar like the way there's battery and solar versions of the mudmaster but this doesn't deserve the hype.
My wrist is 6.25" so a 40mm would work but the ones I've seen are all pink or some other girly color. Plus that strap sticks way out, even at 40mm its going to wear large.
This day an age wearing the Rolex or Hublot Is a high risk event. I live in a democrat control city so broad daylight crime is common. People are being attacked for their watches. I bought one of these and I must say, I like it...alot

As if Swiss-made watches are inherently superior to Casios. 20 bar water resistance, day-date-month feature, duo time feature, alarms, timer, stopwatch features, relatively thin, and you can mod the watch with a fully machined steel case and bracelet.

exactly. They do last forever (or they used to). This model is not the best example. Casio has decreased the quality standards for the gshock line in terms of construction . They used to be real tool watches (remember the commercial with the hockey player?) The "triple 10" philosophy is not a standard any more . Now they are targeting the fashion market. I guess it is the most profitable nowadays. Luckyly we still have the classic models that have at least some of the quality of the good old ones.

@@plle89 Your comment sounds definitive. You can’t say that. The Casio G-Shock line is vast. There are so many different models of g-shocks from $30 to $2K. They make some more fashionable watches and some tacticool models like the Mud Master and stuff, but they still make the affordable work horses that many military personnel rely on.
@@plle89 I think it depends watch to watch. The GA line has some pretty tough watches like the 100, 110, 700, 900 and 1000. The mudmaster is tough as hell. This one while it does not have that degree of toughness, will most probably be bought by people who do not need that level of toughness either.
I have several G-Shock watches. I bought a grey 2100 with an urban camo face. A young man that works for me fell in love with it and is an aspiring watch collector. I took it off my wrist and gave it to him. I told him that if he wants to be a collector he has to have at least one G-Shock. He was blown away and I can always get another one. 😁👍🏾
Let him know that I would like to give him a Seiko 5 . If he hasn't experienced automatics he can. Us collectors shouldn't be snobs. If someone is interested in our hobby we should help out. When I started to get into watches, I only thought the only type of watches were quartz. My 1 watch is a Seiko SUR356 quartz , then I got a Movado 800series quartz. Teddy's videos is where I learned about quartz and automatic. Nothing against quartz! I love quartz. My 1st Seiko SUR356 I passed it on to my 15 yr old son and it's still running with the factory battery!

Feel selfcocious if I flash an expensive watch on a first business meeting with à new client. This watch looks like it has it all. Humble but cool. Hard as nails, looks great, and à conversation starter for the like minded. Now, let your emplyee work there bones off to earn the next one!
I own several Rolex, and I just purchased this. It's coming this week via the post. But I am just as excited for this as I've been for my other, more expensive pieces. It's a fantastic watch with a great design.
I’m glad you give these G-shocks exposure on your channel teddy. I bought mine 2 months ago but the silver metal version. Gotten lots of compliments on how it looks and I love how comfortable it wears on the wrist.

Never been a big fan of the bulk typical g shock models but found this one online a little while ago and loved it. Have the all black/stealth model. - took me a bit to figure out the settings but this video would have really sped things up! Excellent review @teddy. Thank you hard to beat the features for the price.
the problem i have with most of these g-shocks is the color schemes make it difficult to read the watch. the hour markers and hands of the watch need to stand out more from the dial color imo
I've read that the "CasiOak" design is actually inspired by the first two G-Shock models: the DW5000 and the AW500. It was intended to combine the iconic elements of both models to create an ana-digi version of the DW5000. The similarities with the Royal Oak is unintentional.
True. There are multiple octagonal casios already, square g shocks and even AE1200 or Casio Royale series. They just increased the length of diagonal faced sides and made dial circular inside

The one feature that I need this watch to have before I buy one is to have it in Tough Solar. I don't like the hassle of having to swap out batteries, and there's a possibility that moisture can enter the watch should the caseback be opened (this is a tropical humid country).
I got the virtual reality version they just released and it's great. The comfort factor is it's biggest quality I find myself wearing it for that fact alone.
I love that, despite being an authorized dealer for some of the classiest watch brands out there, you still don't look down on practical tool watches like G Shocks! I've always been of the opinion that when it comes to watches, if you feel happy seeing it around your wrist, go for it.. which is why my daily driver is a mudmaster G shock
Great video Teddy. I love my G-Shock Mudmaster I use trekking, it can survive anything other than an asteroid strike and maybe it might survive that too! These are very attractive casual watches and now of course there is the all metal version which is truly stunning. You might even manage to get away with wearing a suit with the dark green and blue metal Casioaks.
I fell in love with the yellow/black colourway two years ago. I wear it with any clothing and for any situation and it just works. Also, if anyone gives you snobbery about wearing a Casio, kindly remind them it's pronounced "cashio". 😎

suuuuch a good watch. but I like the ga-b2100 better but I like the silver indicies of the ga-2100-1a. good things its easy to mod but idk where to find the indicies. maybe thats easy to find too. I also dont mind the all black stealthy batman one but think i prefer with silver indicies but that isnt with bluetooth. big dilemma here
I like the range of watches. I kinda tuned out during the tutorial of how to use the modes mixed with b-roll that doesn't relate to the tutorial. Most videos I just enjoy the b-roll. On a side note I liked the old background set. The old lamp and clock looked nicer.
Just got my dad one of these for his birthday as a beater watch and he loves it. I catch him wearing it at least a few times a week. I was on the fence about it at first but can honestly say I'm a fan now and will probably get one at some point.
I wish the Casio marketing department did a better job of explaining how this watch can still withstand tough treatment even though it has moving parts (the hands).
the goal is 3 :expensive" gshocks to expand my watch collection that is 90 percent digital. Every collection can have 1 factory gshock, 1 custom ghosck, and 1 classy casioak. Color and variety is the keystone of having a digital watch collection. I'd really only ever want a Rolex etc for it's speculative value. Citizen or Seiko vintage with some mantienence can be fine... and look classy as a 1k+ watch

There is a big problem with this casio that no one is really taking note of; The hands on this watch are horrible! and this is an understatement. I was so disappointed when I saw this watch in person, I thought it was a counterfeit. The hands look cheap, the material used looks like cheap chrome plating with blemishes. I will also send a serious email to Casio because it is unacceptable and I think the product is sub-par. Thanks again and stay well

After a lot of digging, last year I got the scarce (at that time) full black Casioak, below MSRP

I have 9 watches in my collection (at a current state), and if I had to get rid of 8 of them, I'd keep my CasiOak.
