Overall this setup was ridiculously loud, much louder than I anticipated going with the sport mufflers. I really liked the sound outside the car, however the overall tone sounded very raspy from the driver's seat. While you could definitely hear the car inside the cabin, there was no drone whatsoever. I have quieter and hopefully also drone free mufflers on the way. - Авто та транспорт
Sounds amazing
Thanks!
Damn shes sounds so good😲😍
Thanks!
That sounds nasty. Love it.
Thanks!
That sounds like heaven. Im so tempted to get em but the price tag is ridiculous.
Thanks! They for sure aren't cheap, but they're definitely a good exhaust and nothing else sounds like them.
I'd reckon a set of magna packs or kooks equivalents mid mounted would do the trick
I had mid mounted maganapakz pretty much killed the cam lope barely could hear it was all bass sounding
Sounds good I can't wait to be done with my build then boost and meth injection..I just installed my frpp cams, bottom end is getting rebuilt
Sounds like a good time!
Love this sound! Thinking about getting another 3v again. Would you recommend the corsas? Or go quieter?
Thanks! All depends what you want. One person's loud is another's mellow, however I can't imagine anyone would think this was quiet. People run this setup with corsa extremes though, so there's definitely people who like it.
If you want pretty loud but still have tone (no open headers or straight pipe for example), I can't recommend them enough. Nice tone, ok volume when cruising with zero drone, and the idle chop and crispness from the cams with the corsas cannot be beat. I will say everyone within a few miles radius will know when you're getting on it. I just decided I wanted quieter, so have a set of borla tourings on order. We'll see how I like those!
@@SomeWheelsRequired I don’t think you could have explained that any better. Thank you so much! Gonna be picking up my new 3v here soon and I’m gonna have to look into them. If you plan on doing a video of the Borlas I’ll wait and watch that first before I order them.
@@Ruby5.0 glad I could help! All depends on what you want for a header setup as well, I imagine the corsas would be a lot more mellow with a catted mid pipe.
I'll be getting the borlas on asap, though the salt trucks have hit hard here in Wisconsin so it may be a bit until I get a video unfortunately. I'll get one up as soon as I'm able to though!
@@SomeWheelsRequired looking forward to it man! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Heavily considering getting a 3v instead of a new GT. They sound so raw bruh
They definitely have a unique sound!
What did you end up going with? I am between those two cars also. The new gt is faster and has more tech but the 3v sounds and looks better
I really like the way it looks. Could you tell please what is the rear diffuser model?
Thanks! Hit up brandon66polar on Instagram. He makes them!
Are you still running this set up?? Saw your description and noticed that you were planning on getting different mufflers. Was wondering if I could buy your corsas when you're done with em. I've been planning on retrofitting corsas on my 2v mustang for awhile and ive never seen anyone do em but finding them used is extremely hard/rare.
I'm not running them currently, I'll let you know if I plan to get rid of them! Want to spend some time with the new ones first.
@@SomeWheelsRequired sounds good I really appreciate it 🤙🏽
Love the spoiler. Where’d u get it?
Thanks! It's a gt500 spoiler I got from "thespoilerstore" on eBay. I went for the prepainted listing. Good quality, and paint quality was pretty good.
Hows it going, bud? Quick question, how are the Pypes long tubes and H pipe holding up? I picked up a 2006 GT recently and am considering Pypes lt's, catted H-pipe and a Borla stinger cat back.
I've had them on the car for probably 8 years or so, and actually picked them up used. No issues at all.
@@SomeWheelsRequired Thanks for the response, man. I appreciate it. Take care.
This may sound dumb but I have a 08 and needed to know if I can pair ANY Longtube headers with any x pipe I was gonna do like the pypes x pipe cut and clamp with bbk long tubes since I called pypes and they are on back order for 6 months on there long tubes and now have catted x pipes only so can I pair long tube headers or shorty headers with any x pipe ?
Some mate up, most do not. I believe I've read kooks mid pipes fit pypes headers, but that's about where it ends unfortunately. The cut and clamp x pipe is strictly meant to replace the small h cross over portion of your stock midpipe, nothing else. You can pair shorty headers with any mid pipe that is designed to be an exact replacement of the stock midpipe as each are designed to be replaced independently of each other, but I wouldn't bother with shorties personally.
@ some wheels required are you selling your long tubes or where did you buy the pypes long tube headers?
@@seraph7744 I am not selling them, no. I picked them up used probably around 8 years ago.
Hi, are you selling the corsa sport axle backs?
I am not at the moment, sorry! Hanging onto them for now.
Did you mess with the heads any valve terrain I herd putting cams will destroy your valve after 5 to 6 months driving
No, stock heads. The frpp cams do not require any sort of valve spring or phaser modifications.
Team 3v
You get the borlas on I have pretty much same set up and look for cleaner exhaust note
Yup! They definitely have a good sound. I'll be posting up a video soon as I finally got footage of it.
@@SomeWheelsRequired yea need some cleaner then the Flowmaster with cams wanting to get rid of drone and the tinnxan sound from cams
what tire set up are you using?
Nt555 G2 in front, Nt555r in back in 305/45/18 variety.
@@SomeWheelsRequired stock rims?

How many miles?
It's got about 76k on it right now.
What mufflers did you end up going with?
I went with Borla Touring mufflers.
@@SomeWheelsRequired How are they? I know those are decently quiet. I recently put on my old American Thunder 60 series mufflers, replacing my Outlaws. It sounds good, but it's way too quiet!
@@linkinparkdrift significantly quieter. I'm happy with the volume honestly, quiet enough when cruising and at idle if I have law enforcement behind me, but they bark well when you get on it.
I absolutely miss the corsas sometimes, especially the crispness with the cam chop, but I'm thinking I'll stick with the tourings long term. Just wish they were as quiet in the cabin as the corsas. I'm assuming the supercharger contributes to the drone I get with them that others haven't.
@@SomeWheelsRequired I'm actually surprised that the Corsas are that quiet inside. I've never experienced them. Only from the outside and they are ear piercing lol. How are they compared to your old SSS mufflers. I believe those are Borla S-Type knockoffs, I might be wrong though.
@@linkinparkdrift yup you're correct on the sss mufflers. They're absolutely awful drone wise. The corsas you can definitely hear inside, it just doesn't have the ear piercing deep drone. The tourings are a good in between.
Ha I have the same exact plate number
I’m buying a 3v as soon as I turn 16
Awesome! Enjoy it, it's a great platform.
Needs an ls
Don’t lie we all know that last clip sounded like a vette
Sounds like a 3 valve with corsas to me! 🤣 In all honesty the corsas have an extremely distinct sound no matter the car they're on, and I did feel I lost a bit of the 3 valve characteristic sound when I had these on. Still sounded fantastic though!
Yeah still sounds great! I want to do something like that to mine but I just took the mufflers off and straight piped it
Need cats to clean up the sound
