WHERE does she get such power...in her voice it is hard to sing her way and not be conscious of your production You have to just feel the notes and trust your talent to provide the lyric and correct tuning so hard to do at her volume She has a way of convincing you that what she sings is true.I believe her too Beautiful
gosh, I sure hope she goes to China so you can have the opportunity to see her live. She came to Atlanta right after she put out "Bare" and she was PHENOMENAL!!! At one point she played a medley of Eurythmic hits on piano, and she was just breathtaking!!
Sometimes I forget to pay attention to the words of the song - I'm so entranced by the individual sounds she can make with her vocal chords - I'm just agape at her control, range, and pure soul that she expresses, especially in the deeper registers...
As I rediscover Annie, I'm seeing and hearing her work in a very different light. This song - in my opinion - is simply an example of her devine, amazing music and expression. One that eludes my ability to describe adequately.
When her lyrics and all her body of work is related to her Buddhist consciousness, her figure and influence seems even greater. Great Compassion. Blessed be your Heart of Enlightenment Annie.

i agree with you--but if you anyone really want to witness why she is so freaking amazing--you HAVE to see her live--video does not always capture the roundness and flexibility to her voice--which is common and thus why alot of performers lipsync--i admire her even more that she does not compromise on this--and when you see her live you see a tour de force--hot damn!
