The majority of these color-analysis talks and articles irritate me because they’re targeted toward office workers ‘making presentations in the boardroom’. Give me a break! As though the huge population of blue-collar and service-sector workers’ incomes aren’t at all affected by how we dress, so we don’t need to know how to project varying images when we interact with doctors, bankers, the PTA, church/temple parishioners, etc. We do know about colors being certain power statements, gender signifiers, mood-lifting or creating a solemn air. And our quality of life is worth making that effort with color, even if we’re NOT white-collar workers.
Jan looks great! She could still do this job today if she wanted!
Great time
