Another thank you here. I chased the leak around the machine & this was the last thing I tried. Our had become backed up with grease to where water was being forced towards the air intake at the bottom. Now back good as new

I watched your video for 1 minute. Opened the bottom of the dishwasher. Disconnected the drain hose. Poured water inside it. It dislodged a broken piece of plate. Put it back together. It now drains completely and the program starts. Thanks very much

I know this was 4 yrs ago, but I'd like to thank you for saving me a lot of trouble. I have the same dishwasher, but it's fully integrated, and it had the exact same problem of leaking from the same place. I can only think this is a design flaw of this model of Beko, because it must of taken years to leak so much it filled up the bottom and activate the flood switch. I just smeared some LS-X sealant around the lacking gasket and it now doesn't leak, or ever will leak from this point on. Cheers fella.

Thanks for this. mine was stuck on draining. Took the side off as you did and could see that an internal hose had detached inside. It was also full of debris. Cleaned it and re-attached it with the spring clip and it’s working again.

Thanks for this, pointed me in the right direction. Mine was a blocked pipe that attached to the bottom of that plastic side bit under the machine.

Same here, it does re-occur some times, a straw cleaning brush can clean it out without pulling the whole machine out. Just unclip the bottom pan where the overflow water collects (three press tabs on the front of it and let the water out you may need a pan/towel to collect it. This will remove the water stopping the machine from working. Then back inside the machine there is a small hole on the right of the plastic housing which holds the removable junk filter. Put a straw cleaner brush up there and hopefully it will re move the crud that builds up and therefore allowing the water to drain away from the side pipe thingy.

Then you so much for this video. I have exact same model and I hate it. Mine is 6 years old and one been have this problem for years. I never knew there was a trip switch or those vents at the side leaked. This morning I followed your advice and got it working again. Usually I throw the thing on its side not knowing that the escaped water came from the sump > then the switch was drying to work. Anyways. Genius. ❤️👍

Brilliant help, thanks. In my case there was a build-up of crud in the u-bend of that component (air suction tube) so water was coming around the corner and dripping out the bottom.

    Thanks for this.
In my case it was the tube which connects the drain sump/pump to the air suction thingy that was blocked solid with gunk.

The problem I'm having with my slimline beko dishwasher is that it has stopped working when l pull dish6out and tilt it back 45 degrees then we get water flooding out the base of the machine at rear it'll work for a couple of washes then it stops working again any idea folks what could be wrong with this dishwasher.
