Many of the same people who think this was aliens are ironically the same people who called everyone a conspiracy theorist for thinking masks were bad for your health.
This is just more fodder to separate those easily manipulated from those whom are not. I always get the feeling us 'nots' are the ones in danger as they get a more comprehensive list of those with critical thinking skills.
These have been popping up in different forms all over the world. They show up, and a few weeks or months or sometimes just days later they disappear. It's been happening for like 2 years and they have shown up in super random places literally all over the world. Kinda crazy :)

Bronx, NYC, had to be 1970 or 1971, PS 54 school yard, saw along with fellow students, staff members, and others s school bus size silver metallic pyramid spinning in place about 100 feet above school yard. It made no noise, sunlight reflected from its sides, wind had zero effect on it. Shortly afterwards black shopper appeared and circled pyramid. Bell sounded ending recess, I went in but nobody said anything that day or afterwards. There is NOTHING on record, no news reports, no articles, not even the standard debunking statement by government/others! It is as if it never happened! I provide the following names in the hope that these folks told family members and friends and others and someone in here also heard about the same incident!

I would have liked a more in depth report on this monolith. Who found it? Was there an attempt to retrieve it. Did the police do a proper investigation? One would expect that tv channels would rush in to inspect it. Did they?

I think they are probably something used in the petroleum industry for oil or natural gas testing. The first three were all in petroleum rich basins, the paradox basin in utah, the basin in Romania in the Carpathian mountains, and the paradox basin again in Colorado (the basin is where the two states border each other). They are made from metal which would deflect the suns light and heat from whatever is inside.
Of course several of them were installed by artists. But some of them are proabbly just boxes for a fancy Earth probe courtesy of big oil!

I thought the 3 Body Problem seemed at times like it had poorly veiled propaganda for the value of particle physics research. The aliens have these sophons, which themselves are "look what magical things particle physics coule do," & their higher priority task is to stop human particle physics research at accelerators. I can see plenty of people watching & thinking, "yes, we *should* invest tons more money into an even bigger particle accelerator. Hey, maybe *this* time we'll see signs of supersymmetry string theory, & others." I, for one, hope the revelation of extraterrestrial life does *not* make humanity respond together. The quality of human response generally tends to be worse the larger the group. Also, if enough individuals can be convinced that the best approach to aliens is to stand together & act as one, expect to see a substantial erosion of civil rights & liberties. Besides, what if the aliens respect individualism, & think of species that tend towards collective, consensus action the way most people think of ants? "Oh, individual human life is practically meaningless. This is a class 2 aspiring hive mind species. It's their governing bodies & institutions that have any meaning or intelligence."

It’s really rather unfortunate how much your opinion and commentary is behind the moment. The rank and quality of the people who are coming forward with the best evidence that can be presented without breaking ND commitments are simply phenomenal and almost indisputable. To be showing the kind of level of skepticism and almost derision of the experiences that are being recounted in minute detail is really quite disappointing and inadequate. Just like anyone else, your opinion is your opinion. Do the research. Dig deep before you speak. You’re on the media. You speak to thousands., If not several million. You have responsibility. Something historical is taking place that’s probably more important to humanity than anything that has ever occurred in human history. Take a responsible part in its development.
