So freaking awesome Flinter, EW, needs to step up on the Africa map. Because this one is a serious challenge to the genre. I wonder how the game sounds as we can't hear it much when you play.

I hate it when people make comparisons like this between two different games. I find it childish. But if you insist, Way of the Hunter REALLY needs to step up it's game then. Waterfowl are almost pointless here with there being no decoys, barely any rare animals, and the fact that there was barely anything in this game until this DLC that you couldn't just already hunt in COTW, I'd say EW are fine.
This map might make me actually get this game, thanks sm for the great content!

Got me there 😂 I think there’s probably a weird damage calculation or something. But you can see the body structure, they LOOK like tanks 😂😭😭😭 I just wish they reacted like them!

In honest opinion is way of the Hunter going to be better than cotw or could be I’ve been playing cotw for a lil bit on ps5 it’s really fun but in your opinion which do you reckon Is going to come out better over time
way of the hunter is a lot better game. just my opinion. maps are awesome!!
They're so different that you can't compare them, in my opinion. COTW is great for run and gun fantasy hunting, and has incredible variety.
WOTH really rewards a realistic hunting style, but it will be years before it's as well rounded as COTW or theHunter Classic.
If you want to run and gun in WOTH, you're going to have a bad time. If you want a detailed realistic hunt in COTW, you're going to be wanting more. Think Forza vs Assetto Corsa. Different games for different things, and both are the best at what they do.
@@mollybaumann415 i agree that you cant really compare them but sadly COTW is not well rounded there are still loads of bugs and glitches and it has been ages since the game hadn’t had any bugs (mostly console) and the fact that they haven’t put out a PS5 Version in 3 Years is a complete joke. I think if WOTH keeps putting out maps and weapons consistently they will take the top spot from COTW. EW really need to fix the game and stop putting all their time in new Great Ones. Sorry for possible bad English its not my first language.
@@Hxinrich I meant well rounded in terms of variety and experiences. The number of species, maps, and equipment means that you can get a whole lot out of the game. And no matter what you're doing, it's all pretty good. Way of the Hunter does a few things really really well, but it isn't that same kind of balanced game yet

Why is it almost every hunting game bows just drop the animal
Assume it has something to do with damage models. As arrows usually have a larger cavity at those ranges. With their increased penetration that can hit a lot of the vitals

I have shot . Gemsbok, black wildebeest, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, springbuck, blesbok and warthog in real life and I shot them all with a 6.5 creedmoore
I think if this game gets the love it deserves and some of the mechanics from cotw. I think cotw won’t be able to compete
Man I'm pretty tired of bows dropping game left and right across all the most popular hunting games. It's pretty immersion breaking when you single lung something with a bow and it dies on the spot like you neck shot it with a rifle. Especially when you do things like shooting a warthog with a 300 and it runs 100+yds.
