  • A new device called the Accu-Wedge has been developed to enable the cutting of segmenting wedges on the band saw. The wedges for segmented bowls can now be cut on the band saw, resulting in less wasted wood and a much safer method than using a table saw. The Accu-Wedge uses the double fence method for cutting the wedges, but it incorporates an auto indexing system that does not require wedgies or angles.
This jig will be called the Accu-Wedge and the prototype version will be demonstrated at the AAW meeting in Kansas City on June 23-25, 2017. The Accu-Wedge is constructed from a 5/16 inch thick aluminum plate that has 4 roller bearing on its base that rides on the rail on the Accu-Slice system. The unit also incorporates two aluminum fences with channel slots for the attachment of a wide variety of clamping systems. The system is scheduled for delivery in the fall of 2017. The fences are auto indexed with an accuracy of better then 0.1 degree. Visit our web site for additional details: www.sisweb.com/wood

I found it on the site and OMG is it expensive or maybe I am cheap. What you see in video is well over 1000 dollars.
