They said "her" in an update. So I guess it's a female protagonist. I would imagine that it's either Hat Kid, Madeline or Hornet but it could also be Lilac or Penny.
@PipesReturns Those would probably sell Fraymakers to most people yeah since they are the two most popular female protagonists in indie gaming and neither have appeared in a crossover fighter yet. Then again I suppose it could be Shantae...
At first I was confused by the victory screens taking so long, but having seen how cool they looK it all makes sense. Also, "her" makes me hope either for Hat Kid (PLEASE) or Madeline.

I think the next assist will be a character having to do with water/the ocean and that's why they're being paired with orcane. a ton of indie game characters could fit, like Umihara Kawase or Krill from another crabs treasure. It's possible it could even be Yamato from Kamiko but I'm not sure.
