it's amazing to me how well all of the japanese female bands get along. they truly seem to be having the time of their lives - after all they are ! they just seem like a group of best friends doing cool stuff together. i'm an old dude from the states and remember that most of our bands from the 60's , 70's and 80's had so many personality conflicts with members that did not even like each other that much. this is refreshing. GO HAGANE !

52 year old here, and I’ve said the same type of thing about how I listen to Japanese metal because it’s in the same vein/spirit as the ‘80s and early ‘90s stuff that were the soundtracks of my teens and early 20s. I disagree that Baby Metal started the current wave. Although, maybe it did for the average westerner, but even setting aside my exposure to Loudness and Show-ya back in the ‘80s, I was listening to Japanese bands like Lightbringer, Gacharic Spin, Doll$Boxx, and others before novelty acts like Baby Metal and Band-Maid were even things.
Respectfully… please ask your management to either stop replacing the live audio in your “live” videos with the studio recordings, or stop trying to sell them as being live. “Hero Time” in particular feels like an intentional attempt at deception the way it has three very brief snippets of crowd interaction live audio interspersed with what is otherwise the full studio version of the song. I know it’s not only Hagane videos doing this, it’s a trend especially among newer Japanese bands. But as a musician myself, I hate seeing performances misrepresented. Studio overdub is fine as long as you’re honest about it. I really like this incarnation of Hagane, and have been a fan of Sakura and Junna separately for years. I truly wish you all the best.
