@@theEdgeCrusher12 pero chief is one of the ranks within the culinary world. I wouldn't even call it rank, but rather another field, because unlicensed mostly yung ibang Chiefs (Chief Cooks). Whereas, chefs are licensed and have many other types/titles (Sous Chef, i forgot the rest hahaha)

@ exactly, kasi hindi siya chief, and walang chief chef. Chief is different from chef is my point kumbaga ba. Chief Cook yes meron, pero note na Chief denotes rank, not a profession.

He visited those other Asian countries, but he never put up his restaurant there. The secret is language barrier. In one episode, he did mention putting a restaurant in Vietnam but it never happen as the language barrier is a hinder for him.

Mr Ramsay, the authentic Thai cuisine wspecially earlier than 2000 issonething you will not like. They have reinvented their dish when they were competing tourism with the Philippines. They know they can’t compete in terms of food because they know their food was really not likeable then.

No local filipino could even afford one item from his menu or a sit in his restaurant. PH cuisine won't be on his menu in any of his restaurants in PH. Guy is reaching out to the growing number of foreign tourist and expats or rich Flips to expand his business and make money, while growing his social media presence with the locals.
