I'm a huge fan of Krysten Ritter and I love her performance as Jessica Jones! Even though I had never heard of JJ before it came on Netflix, she made her become one of my favorite female badasses in both film and television! What I love most about JJ, is that she isn't the typical superhero. She is a flawed, sarcastic, self-loathing, traumatized, and world-weary person with an aggressive, rude and witty attitude! But deep down inside underneath that negative image of herself, she is a decent woman with a caring heart!!
It's like you find The drawings that the elementary schoolers do when they've just started to get into art Like You could've at least found some good fanart Or you could've at least not made fun of it Like I get that they're probably teens on the internet But they worked really fucking hard to get that perfect And you just mocked it
+DirectorSpy TV networks have lawyers to help them exploit fans who make the mistake of giving something to a celebrity. If you know people at a magazine that publishes celebrity exposes, tell me and you can read all about it.
This is so humiliating for those passionate fans who put so much work and enthusiasm into their art, and it's very discouraging for young people who are aspiring artists...
+Victor Kong Honestly, if someone can't take criticism of their work or appreciate the flaws in it as well as the virtues then they probably shouldn't be an aspiring artist. An art school or curator or other esteemed figure in the art world won't sugarcoat obvious problems (like not being able to capture likeness) so why do it? Most of these artworks the only criticism they said was it didn't look anything like the person, which is imperative in a non-abstract portrait. I posted fanart at the age of 12 or 13 because I was proud of it at the time, but I also knew it was far from the best out there. You can't be excessively precious about it, or you'll never improve. I looked at other better artwork to see what skills I lacked.
TheTardisDreamer Your comment is long, but I will reply. This isn't criticism, constructive or otherwise, they're literally making fun of these people because of how "ugly" their works are. I've been an artist all my life, I've done fan art like this when I was younger. If there was Internet back then and someone took my art, broadcasting it on TV to make fun of it, I would've been crushed; humiliated.
I agree. A lot of these artists might be 10 years old, 11, 12. Of course, they will have to learn to take criticism but I don't think that this is constructive criticism. It's really discouraging.
Quite often they are not 11-12 year olds.. but adults that typically get the "your work is amazing!" from friends/family, but haven't had actual criticism that they need to develop. And when you get into round table criticisms in serious art classes, sometimes one might not be too kind with their critique, and your job is to not get defensive or lash back. The art world is tough and often cruel.
It was indeed a very poor thought out section of the show. A) You are asking your guests to laugh and criticise fan art. B) You are asking them to try to guess who they look like which my contraposition means calling those guesses ugly.
Crohn you don't like the gay art, you don't like the portraits, but you also say there are good artists on DeviantArt. What's the deal? You only like OCs or furry art or something? If you're not making any sense because English isn't your first language, I apologize.
james cordon seems like a pretty nice guy, i don't know much about these shows so correct me if i'm wrong but it seems like someone behind the scenes would be writing these segments. still, it's in very poor taste.
Some of these were probably drawn by children or people imagine how hearing would crush their dreams! : ( He should presented them differently instead of making fun of them.
+faboze Hey, block the websites on your phone and computer with an app like SelfControl and you'll be fine. You can do it, we can do it! #StayStrong haha
**PLEASE** Make this a game on your show! 'The James Corden Late Late Show, Fan Art Game' The winners get to keep the image of themselves. BTW - Everyone's a winner. (each player gets to keep an image of themself) An unknown artist, knows their art was seen, by the stars they know & love. (Excellent work everyone, on The JCLL Show!)
Besides the mocking of the portraits, I bet they couldn't show the X-rated. Bet there's much more. Cause I've drawn body portraits of celeb women... I'm pretty good at that, but I haven't done that in years, but I'm thinking of doing one of the lovely Kristen and no I'm not gonna post it on the web.
I found this interview pairing pretty funny because Ted Danson was in 3 Men And A Baby with Steve Guttenberg and Kristen Ritter played Guttenberg's daughter in Veronica Mars. However, the less we say about Steve's character in Veronica Mars the better! Lol!
I legit am gaga's ovr this girl. Smh, beyond words type pretty. Like id seem like such a creep, id jus be starring at her in person. AND IM NORMAL ASF!!! Ugh.
i didn't expect her voice to sound like that after watching jessica jones..
She has a higher pitched voice
on the show her voice sounds very different.
+Arushi Goel yes :) so true i love you Arushi :*
+Arushi Goel It's called.... acting.
Beastinrocks yes i definitely get that! i was just surprised.. that's all....
Ted Danson should teach classes on how to age with style. Good Lord that man still looks so good!
Sexy
Can't teach that

Devon Vann i kinda liked your comment
I totally love her. Kristen is cute.
*really not kinda
She is literally the complete opposite of Jessica Jones. And gosh Krysten is gorgeous
It's like you find
The drawings that the elementary schoolers do when they've just started to get into art
Like

Or you could've at least not made fun of it
Like I get that they're probably teens on the internet
But they worked really fucking hard to get that perfect
And you just mocked it
Seeing how goofy and giggly Krysten is just makes me heart die she’s so cute 😂
No credit or recognition to the artists? Okay. That's TOTALLY cool.
+DirectorSpy TV networks have lawyers to help them exploit fans who make the mistake of giving something to a celebrity. If you know people at a magazine that publishes celebrity exposes, tell me and you can read all about it.
I heard they ask the artists, and they disclose they dont want the recognition, however it is copy written so no worries!
This is so humiliating for those passionate fans who put so much work and enthusiasm into their art, and it's very discouraging for young people who are aspiring artists...

i hope they got permission to show these pictures, otherwise this is totally disrespectful to the artists :/
Crohn you don't like the gay art, you don't like the portraits, but you also say there are good artists on DeviantArt. What's the deal? You only like OCs or furry art or something?

Wow imagine having a whole segment making fun of people’s art on national television, literally where does James Cameron get off lmao
james cordon seems like a pretty nice guy, i don't know much about these shows so correct me if i'm wrong but it seems like someone behind the scenes would be writing these segments. still, it's in very poor taste.
And Cordon is such a talentless hack. His single professional skill is flattering celebs.
The Jennifer Anniston one looks like a forensic reconstruction of a Jane Doe corpse they found in the woods.
This really proves she has acting chops. Like you need to see a clip of her from her work to make sure it's the same person.
Some of these were probably drawn by children or people imagine how hearing would crush their dreams! : ( He should presented them differently instead of making fun of them.
I guessed Jennifer Aniston!
+Jacob Reed wow
+Jacob Reed I thought it was that meth head chick from Orange is the new black lol

+faboze Hey, block the websites on your phone and computer with an app like SelfControl and you'll be fine. You can do it, we can do it! #StayStrong haha
Download ''Cold Turkey''.
I will never understand Corden's success.
I actually got the Jennifer Anniston one....
**PLEASE** Make this a game on your show! 'The James Corden Late Late Show, Fan Art Game'

all the fan art is great! all of it. especially the one from Calgary of ted drawn by fred Gwynne of ted as herman munster with no make up on.
She's fit man.
the only one I got right was Jennifer Aniston, only by the hair

She's gorgeous and talented!
People are saying it’s disrespectful to the artist but it’s kind of also disrespectful to the celebrities
I GUESS JENNIFER ANISTON RIGHT AND I SCREAMED "YES!" SO LOUD A NEIGHBOUR CAME AND KNOCKED ON MY DOOR
I feel like you were making fun of young artists in this part.. But idk..
ArtisticDork he was just trying to be funny in the moment, that's his job he's a host. I hope he didn't genuinely mean anything bad towards them
"artists"
I got all of them right?!!?!?! LOL
Ted is a silver fox!!! My goodness!! Hubba Hubba!
I guessed David Duchovny for the Morgan Freeman.
RIP
+Jesse Pinkman XMV
D.B.Russel is on the Late late show crime scene yo!
I found this interview pairing pretty funny because Ted Danson was in 3 Men And A Baby with Steve Guttenberg and Kristen Ritter played Guttenberg's daughter in Veronica Mars. However, the less we say about Steve's character in Veronica Mars the better! Lol!
I fully guessed the Jenifer Anniston as a joke
"You should send that to David Mamet" 😂😂
The fan really captured Jennifer Aniston's eyes though.
The drawing of Ted Danson kind of looks like an old Adam Levine.
I got all of them right, I am a legend
he was definitely gonna say caitlyn jenner but didnt want to
She is perfect
I wonder how Krysten Ritter would react to an N64 polygonal render of herself? If I knew computer modeling I'd give it a shot!
Once you say it you see it....nope.
I totally called the Bruce Willis and Jennifer Aniston ones!
Love the last piece of art, that she says "spitting image" about, by Greg Halbert of MN! @greghalbert #greghalbert
I LOVE HERR
I thought the Morgan freeman drawing was of Lionel Ritchie lol
Got all of them except for Jennifer
I’m in love 😍 with her
It’s so weird seeing Kristen act like this, not like Jessica Jones. No pun intended. She seems cool!

I was guessing to when I saw the fan drawings and I got the Jennifer Aniston drawing right but I couldn't stop laughing at the Morgan freeman fan art😂

Just like Graham Norton's segment

I red 'fart art' and now I'm disappointed :D
Graham Norton-esque format they copied here. Not a bad thing though.

MrRandomTuber I could see how.

She’s really mean in real life. I think it’s because she grew up rich 🤔
I legit am gaga's ovr this girl. Smh, beyond words type pretty. Like id seem like such a creep, id jus be starring at her in person. AND IM NORMAL ASF!!! Ugh.
bring back bored to death!
i thought it said "fart art'. not gonna lie i was really curious to see what that meant. #disappointed
her nostrils make me angry
Mark C ...i can see her nostrils from Mars.
