Hey, as the Immigration officer asked you for fee receipt letter of the college... So, did you show LOA of college which states that the fees is paid.....?
I just gave him the tuition fee receipt of my College and the GIC certificate from the bank!👍🏼

How much was the economy and what are the main perk differences in economy and premium economy
There was a difference of around 35000 rupees in economy and premium economy but I got one extra luggage for free of 23kg’s and there was better leg room so it was all worth it!👍🏼
The ticket costed me around 1,55,000 rupees!

How much weight i can carry in aircraft ( handbag and cabin bag without laptop )
You can usually carry 2 luggage’s of 23kg each and one cabin bag of 7 kg.

Bro i have completed all the registration process like upload loa ,visa copy and one card also my classes are started from may 6 i have booked my flight for 9th april should i need any other documents to travel like enrolment letter or any registration confirmation email from college please tell me i dont have enrolment letter
Just get your enrolment letter, you will get it 10-15 days before your classes start.

Did you book via an agent? If yes then ask them for it otherwise go to the official website and check under the “MANAGE BOOKING” section or last you could do is that email your concern to the airline and tell them you are a student!👍🏼

No, just tell about the consultantation fees if they asked you. Not the GIC, not the bio-metric fees!!
Also, for the SIN number, you just need to enter your name, your father and mother’s name, flight number and the proper address you are going to stay at initially!!👍🏼

We don’t get any work permit with our study permit but we are allowed to work off campus and on campus.

Yes it is, I took it in a tiffin.

Yes, definitely you can carry food but make sure the food doesn’t contain any liquid diet like milk, dal etc. Just carry dry food like Roti, Jeera Aloo etc. ( They will throw the liquids at the security check if found with you )

Is it mandatory to take SIN number from airport only?
It is going to be more convenient to you and it will save time for you as you won’t have to wait in queue whenever you get that outside the airport. It is not mandatory though**
Hey, thank you so much for a detailed video! I’m currently thinking of pursuing my PG from abroad after MBBS, so I have few questions. Canada is on my list.
1. Is it necessary to clear IELTS? What score is considered good if you know.
2. SIN number isn’t just limited to students, right? I might take my mom along and to access government benefits (as shown on google), each person must apply for a SIN number, isn’t it?
3. How are the living conditions in Canada for Indian student? Is it fairly comfortable? Do all the students need to have a part-time job as in other video the person said students get stuck into monetary world, making their ends meet and lose concentration in the studies.
It would be great if you could answer my questions to get a quite clear picture of Canada☺️
First of all talking about english test scores, It depends on the university or college in which you are planning to go, whatever test’s they accept like (IELTS/TOEFL, PTE, etc and then if you go with my suggestion then it would be to go for an IELTS exam because it is valid in many other countries as well, also a score of not less than 6.5 in each module and overall 7.5 is a decent score to get admission in normal colleges but if you are planning for top ranked universities then you must have a score of not less than 7.0 in each module.👍🏼
Secondly, SIN number is for everyone who has a legal permit to stay here in this country other than tourists so if your mother is coming as a PR or on a super visa then she could also get her SIN number. It is nothing but just a Social Identity Number ( just like combination of aadhar card + pan card in India ), and is required everyone if you want to work , open up a bank account and even by your university or college.
Thirdly, I just came here before 20 days so I haven’t experienced much things yet but talking about the part time jobs as of now, surely there are shortages ( especially till February or March ) but it totally depends upon you that if you are good enough, your communication skills are good then you will surely be hired, other than this, students who feel comfortable doing part time jobs and are scared that they won’t get their field job are the ones who cannot concentrate on their goals or their studies so I feel like that part time job is just to manage your expenses during your studies but once your studies are done, you should definitely move on to something bigger and work on your skills and keep trying for your field job and jobs which are better than the minimum wage!

What about extra weight in luggage bags?
It was not an issue, the weight was around 24.600 kg’s , they approved it and said nothing but maybe it was a chance of luck.
