That’s not a bug, friend. That’s just collision. It’s not like you can crouch anywhere and do it, it’s very specific spots. Like single digits in the entire game. Unless BHVR changes it, it’s just part of the game. Strong players are aware of these spots and avoid shredding at them. Few survivors know them or can manage to pull it off.

I'm fairly certain a survivor being able to stop a shredding demo in his tracks without getting hit by crouching at shack door is an unexpected result. The fact that it only works in specific spots does not mean it's an intended feature. The devs also tweak collision fairly often (just see whiskers as an example).
That Jake is the kinda teammates I get every game, and honestly it makes solo que just un-fun as you can never win when the constantly sandbag or hide.
