Best comment I ever saw about him: “face of a bricklayer, voice of an angel”
Been a while since we've had a real epic working class indie band. Very exciting times! 😊
Dma’s are incredible and this guy is one of the greatest singers we’ve seen in a long time
One of the greatest singers I’ve ever heard
Love DMS no props no ego just brilliant tunes had the pleasure of seeing them early doors following there journey seen them 4 times now and hope for many more times
Can't believe you used to be a drummer, Tommy. That voice is incredible! Well done with DMA's, it's an incredible band.
you don't get many singers these days that can move you like he does.. first time I saw "Silver" from the Brixton show on here it sent shivers down my spine.. absolute master class.. and not to mention how good the other members are at what they do.
So not only can he sing, but he also gives great interviews!
Man I would give anything to hear that voice memo of Silver on his phone. Literally the first time that melody was sung into the universe. Need to hear that magic!
What I find special about DMA's is their development. As Tommy said, Your Low is a great song, but so are Too Soon, Tape Deck Sick, Silver and many more. Key is, they're all superb and each of them in their own right, be it garage influenced or more ballad-like. Really like where they're heading with The Glow. Wishing them all the best and hoping to see them live as soon as possible!
i was there that night at brixton, the best night of my life
could listen to him just talk all day long. what a man, what a band
Tommy coming up with the " How do I re-define all my love for you..." bit on Silver... Really epic chorus! 😊
Brilliant interview, a band that wears its heart on its sleeve and is really going places, unique.
Love this! Seems so rare that he gives interviews but clearly so switched on. Best band going atm!!
I like him even more after this interview, a down to earth and genuine guy.
Beautiful singer
Passionate vocalist
Pleasant guy
Incredible Band
✌❤💡😇🙏👊
Great interview, seems like a down to earth bloke
Tommy's a good egg
Beautiful voice. Beautiful geeza. And the band have got 2 magic albums and no doubt a magic album on the way. Theyve deserved big things since day 1
Best band in this planet right now!!
Always enjoy these interviews. No over the top attempts to be "relatable", just good questions in a chill environment.
Much appreciated David, Thanks for watching!
Best band in the world right now
One of my favorite underrated singer love u tom!
Great interview with Tommy, even with the Poltergeist slamming doors in the background and all in this haunted place.
Such a decent bloke honest and amazing vocals and and all of dma's ❤️
Top band top guys
Love from the uk
The glow is going to rock🙌🏼
Top band - we've been waiting for this. They need an album with 12 songs as good as Silver.
Love this guy, what a voice, what a band!! So glad you aren't a drummer anymore you got your calling to be heard at the right time 😊👍
DMAs at Brixton Academy was fucking incredible
This band will be real big as they are all good writers....showing The Gallagher boys how to sound like Oasis.
The new album is fantastic. This is a great interview too. I have watched loads of FaceCulture interviews with various bands and the interviewer (is he Dutch?) always asks carefully considered, interesting questions. Keep up the good work
Thanks man! glad you enjoy it, and yes, we are based in Amsterdam.
Should have asked him how the beer was at the sugarmill? I remember him taking one drink and his reaction... He gave it to me to finish off
Hahah, so how was the beer?
@@FaceCulture awful. Lager that can only be described as tasting like the static sound from an old TV. It was awful. Saw him open a bottle, take one swig and he gave it to me. I still drank it ofcoure 😂
haha, at least it was free :D
Hahaha I was there and I still remember that. It was Brooklyn Lager, it really tastes of soap.
Can't wait to see these guys at O2 on 21st, fucking legends
Seems a lovely chap
Looks like Mark E Smith from the fall here lol
3:25 Tommy looked a bit awkward. What was happening there?...…Hmmmm
It was 3:15 actually.
The interviewer talks too much
