As a 40 "something" American Sk-8 Rat.. this band was allways in my walkman as a kid. Especially when I hit it hard homicidal style on the streets...Me, My skateboard,& The Cockey Rejects (pounding in my ears).... the good ol' days.... I wish I was at this show... just awesome. ...
I'm fuckin old too. 54 yrs at the moment. And I love it. The Rejects are freaking great. Saw'em in Stockholm a while ago. Bleeding marvellous that was😂
@@bosshoss64 I’m 47, The Rejects were one of the bands that influenced me to start my own punk band in Philly in 1988 when I was 15. They also influenced my interest in West Ham United, always was a football fan, and had out best season right before this gig (and now we’ve had our best start since then....... FA Cup and top 4 here we come!) Jeff, if we win some silver this year ya gotta tour the States, I’ll join the band, and go buy that flat I liked in Bethnal Green (the lovely, beautiful and kind woman who let me stay the night helped with the “ambiance, I must say.........) ☺️
+PunkRockMetalHQ The gig couldn't have been better, even though the gear was breaking down, and a great audience. Gigs this good don't happen that often! :-)
I LOVE this band! Doesn't matter the size of the venue or if there are 20 or 20 thousand fans they are putting on a show! They blew everyone who played Scotland calling away this year and made Rebellion extra special. I am lucky in the fact I get to see live bands all the time, a lot who are very talented but their arrogance just puts me off. These guys are so down to earth and you can tell how much they appreciate their fans. Met Jeff when I was buying a T shirt and he chatted away with me and my pal. His energy on stage is infectious and I always find myself drawn down the front smiling like an idiot! Unfortunately they play Scotland on the 8th of Dec which I will miss as am working but cannot wait till the next one. One of the best live bands EVER
Always get excited by the Rejects. I'm 53 yo and started listening to them in 1980...you do the math, i'm to drunk and retarded...but it's a long time, and i never get sick of hearing them!!!
+Paddy Campbell I remember him telling me he went with them when they signed to EMI all those years back, think there was some family connection to the band.

Think it was round 1980. Rejects were our inspiration then. Walking from the train station down canningtown, arriving at the Bridge House with a couple of hundred skinheads waiting to get in, fucking amazing sight and not 1 incidentCant find any films of this gig, glad we made a couple of pictures of us with the band
I enjoyed that, it was like the left side of my brain just awakened suddenly,,,,mad, these could still probably knock out boxers 20 years old,,,,ha ha!!!
I never saw the Rejects live, but I saw Liverpool v West Ham when I was a kid and Bobby Moore and Clive Best was there, so I suppose that makes up for it, I always wondered what the skins from the Firm thought of Clive Best, the first black footballer I saw in division one, y'know, being skins and that, ha ha, Clive was a real gentleman, and good player.
GREETINGS FROM A ROMANIAN PUNK ROCKER LIVING IN NORTH CAROLINA AMERICA, I HATE AMERICA, BUT LOVE ENGLAND, BOTH PEOPLE AND FOOD AND THE PUNK/OI/NEW WAVE/GOTH/METAL AND NEW ROMANTICS/AND ROCK MUSIC FROM ENGLAND...........MARIUS(PUNK RULES).
Not sure why they need stage crew keeping an eye on the lads & lasses dancing around when there's two Olympic standard amateur boxers in the band & everyone seems to be having a good time?!
I am 56 and lived in rural England and love all sorts of Rock music but when it comes to ‘ streetpunk ‘ ( real punk should be its tag imho ) my knowledge ends beyond the odd Rejects and Exploited tunes so in layman’s terms could anyone tell me what seperates these chaps and Cock Sparrer ? Is it just territorial or political or do they get on ? Just interested- no secret agenda to label or denigrate them it’s just their Cult status over decades which makes bands like them relevant and authentic and causes me to be interested in their story. My local ‘ streetpunk ‘ band is Peeping Toms ( not the Spanish outfit )by the way . Love from Wessex Witches

R.I.P. Tony. A sad loss indeed although it's great to see Vince back with the lads.
+Paddy Campbell Agree, I knew Tony very well he was a lovely fella.
Was shocked when I heard the news. Only saw the band in Dublin a couple of weeks before.
+Paddy Campbell I must be honest am very surprised the band have kept going after a blow like that.
+Vincent 79 Fair play to them. Must have been a tough decision but I'm sure that Tony would be happy for them to keep it going.
+Paddy Campbell I remember him telling me he went with them when they signed to EMI all those years back, think there was some family connection to the band.

Good that there is some entertainment organized for senior citizens.
