Last year was England’s best chance to win, with the WC hangover and Dupont missing
Once. England could have a good chance to win against France, but I think France is better and England a bit worse. I expect France to win.
Du Pont is stronger than Edwards. I have been watching rugby since 1966, and I have never seen anyone that consistently great. GOAT.
As long as he plays at home you mean, behind a big pack?
@@akashaef1Champions cup final in Dublin v Leinster - I'm a Leinster fan and he was completely unplayable
Are you, per any chance, South African?
Disagree, I saw Edwards outpowering forwards of the time
Lomu was pretty unplayable
Stumbled across this channel last week and now I’m seeking it out before and after every match, great stuff.
Welcome aboard mate!
11:20 Got to remember that for the last encounter at Twickenham in 2023 the bookies were predicting France by 1 while the Rugby 4cast was predicting England by 5
Yeah nobody predicted that kinda scoreline aye
hard to predict France by 43 to be fair ;)
I just hope both teams have fun :3
England will give it everything, but France’s class will
win through.
Marcus Smith at 15? That’s a mistake against DuPont.
Steward at 15 would be more of a mistake at 15. Steward gets turned all at will.
Jo’burg per here, and Boks supporter who will be backing France all the way in this match up! Hard not to admire the French flair. It’s not just Dupont. Ramos, Penaud also seriously special!
If Ntamack hadn't earned a red card, for his moment of stupidity, Id have said England had zero chance and France would be looking at a Grand Slam.
Will England beat France? it's possible, but on current form I'd say chances are slim. If I had to score it, I'd say a comfortable, but not massive French Victory. 32- 21.
France by 21 points.
That would be really impressive!
To be honest I think that France digested the RWC trauma and is now a war machine. They played against Wales with the handbrake on, they didn't even bother with merging into the rucks. They will be full strength. And which English player would Galthié pick over a French? I only see Maro Itoje.
So here we are, I am awaiting for a 21 margin victory for France if the refs don't mess it.
The French have unbelievable quality in there side and I fear England will take an absolute hammering on Saturday. ENgland 8 France 47
Thumbs up for the underdogging!!!
In France, Galthier is not seen as having politician talks but a philosopher. He speaks about rugby like a grand master of some japanese art or something. Don’t worry, It’s usually odd, with or without subtitles 😂
Ok it's not just me then 😅
This will be tough for England, no two ways about it. Playing Marcus Smith at full back is a big gamble, especially against this class of opposition.
10-66☝️
Great vintage 😂😂
Ramos is some player.
Steward was a defensive liability, last week. So I assume Borthwick feels Smith can't be much worse
Steward should switch to try at 12. Given that England have zero big 12s. But at domestic level only until we see if it works. His defence reminds me of Owen Farrell's. He can tackle well, but any space and he's screwed. He got skinned by Gibson-Park and Conan last weekend. Begs the question, who could he tackle?
Thanks Mark. I fear for England but hope it's close. Marcus Smiths defence is actually very good. Squidge rugby's review of the last game was very supportive of that.
I agree Smith is also à lot faster than Stewart. Stewart is huge and very good under high ball but also one of the slowest back 3 player of à tier one nation. I against the likes of LBB or Penaud would be another tough day at the office. Then again it's a strategic decision because the french wingers are the fastest but not the best under high ball, so Borthwick got rid of a weakness but at the same time deprived his team of an asset. Only time will tell if he is right about it
@clementbatut4053 those wingers are on another level!
Ah right I'll have to give it a watch! I'm sure Smith is more agile that Steward - but I feel sorry for fullbacks because they're often left one v one when all else has failed. Smith usually is at least defending in the line where it's less do or die stuff 😅
If it rains at Twickenham and the French get their annual case of gallic shrug, England have a chance of another Agincourt. If it's sunny, it'll be another Castillon.
England to surprise France by 1 score, and Finn Smith to bring a breath of fresh air to the English team.
Scotland to Surprise Ireland and Italy to beat Wales, the 6 Nations to be exciting like never before 🎉
Be a good confidence boost for England to get a win, by any margin aye
@TwoCentsRugby it would set the 6 Nations alight, it all looks too predictable, Ireland and France are so far ahead of the rest, that the interest and crowds will be pulled in by the race for 3rd place, unless we see some surprises
@@neilshrekpurves4521 Pretty sure some albion's folk want to upset french tournament victory as an objective. That's something :)
@@luniqueful oui ça c'est certain !^^
England have been due a big performance and this week could potentially be it. But France are simply excellent throughout and England will need something special to beat them.
Only chance Engkand winning is if they turn the lights off😅 France by 15
20
I think it could be pretty close, but I think France will edge it
Yeah probably too early to be writing England off, but it'll be a good game to see where both are at
Marcus Smith will just be a speedbump against the french wingers!
On social media England suffer a lot from "fans" who aren't really fans criticising their best players in the hope of undermining and putting pressure on them.
Yeah I don't really get it.... I mean every team's social media page is full of interesting takes after a team naming... but England's seems extra interesting 😅
Jalibert back.. best attacking 10 in the world. Look at what he does at Bordeaux. Insane. Bit weaker on defence than Ntamack though.
And Mark, Galthie and Jalibert made amends. He said he'd rather have a player that speaks his mind than one that just sulks without opening his mouth. They're adults. They fixed their differences.
When England beat France in the Autumn nations cup, the French sent a third string team. Many of those in the team now though.
The English Premiership is 40% as good as the top 14.
As an Englishman, we have no chance!
@@ashaion1777 said Winston Churchill never
Go watch the football then.
France beat the poorest Wales team in decades and people have already handed them the grand slam. I don’t see any team going unbeaten in this year’s Six Nations. Championship may be decided on how many points teams put on Wales and Italy.
Those late tries Ireland let in last week may yet prove to be very costly
Definitely a much bigger test this weekend
I don't know the Welsh having a poor team England ain't no better a could be a bad day at the office for England 😩
I'm not sure of Marcus at 15
Really worried France could run all over him.
Borthwick rolling the dice eh!?
I believe it will be a close game, England might take the lead for some time, but I think France will detached in the end of the game and win.
Just missing Dingwall and Furbank from the eligible Saints backline, plus Hendy on the bench :-)
Picking Marcus Smith at fullback his a mistake Wales kept doing that with James Hook and it didn't work Marcus Smith his the only player in this English team to have flair and a rugby brain to break defenses let's also get real we haven't got the forwards to take on mighty French pack I expect the French to win by 10pts or more it depends if there in the mood good luck because we're going to need it 🏉🌹🏴🫣
Has he actually proven he can break defences in an England shirt though? Marcus looks flashy in glimpses but he's yet to show he's the real deal.
@rjonesbeau1 well I hope you're right
It’s because we ran France close last year with Ford at 10 and Smith at 15.
It was awful tackling last week that cost England. Steward has always been suspect defensively, so I'm not surprised he's been dropped. But, this Fin Smith/Marcus Smith gamble feels like the last roll of the dice for Borthwick. Lose this game, and possibly the Scotland game, and I'm afraid Borthwick is gone. There's not enough physicality in this England team. We need more players that can intimidate the opposition.
France to just edge this one against England
Please no more box kicking England run with ball in hand
How else can they expect to defeat the french defence if not by boxkicking?
Keeping the ball in hand, no matter what, would be just begging for a thrashing.
Dupont is just looking incredible...if he plays as well as he did in week 1, I think France wins by quite a bit more than 5. England needs to have their best game in years, the luck of the bounce, a little love from the ref and France needs to be mediocre everywhere and knocking it on bunches for Perfidious Albion to even cover the spread. But I generally get it wrong...
England don't have the engine to go 80 mins the way they are playing, if they continue down the same path this week it's good night Eileen!
Yeah the blitz is a hard one to maintain!
Excellent preview as usual Mark.ive picked England to win
I think England 🏴 beating France 🇫🇷 will be the shock of the SixNations this year. England to win in the margin (2-4) points.
🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
As a french supporter.. they really could ! I really like the way the English team is looking tbh. Lot a heart, aggressiveness and talent.
I just don’t think they can hold 80min. I hope I’m right ! Best of luck to you guys
Am English and i dont see that happing
Bravo!.
Let Rugby win.
L'angleterre est toujours un adversaire difficile,
ce sera un vrai combat à Twickenham.
Bonne chance à nos amis anglais.
-XV2FR@-
If you are really open minded you should be saying that this match could go either way. The only real team advantage is playing at home...but! Open game with an open result. Let's hope it's a good one...
Twickenham 👍👍👍
Yeah man, hearing them say Allianz is jarring
M6N?
So have I got this right?
We can’t say man of the match anymore. For some stupid reason.
But now we must say men’s six nations. For the opposite stupid reason, I guess.
Ridiculous nonsense.
PS. Thank you for your videos 👏
Yeah I still say man of the match but I think officially it's player of the match
Can't watch Ireland v Wales in their proper colours anymore because of the, 7-10% of fans who are colour blind.
You cant be upset about that surely!? 10% is hundreds of thousands of viewers! Its just making so everyone can enjoy it. @@davidm3344
On french TV, we keep using MEN OF THE MATCH term.
Hope all the Kiwi boys go well this weekend!
Who you guys playing? :)
@ We’re involved in all 3 Six Nations games. 👍
@Mannytakui I thought that is what you meant :). We thank NZ for the talent :)
@@GrumpaGladstone1809 Hope they go well for you mate 👍😂
@Mannytakui Thanks 😅👍
Who cares....😂
Bring on Super Rugby ☝☝☝☝
France 43 England 10
Why do people hate England?
Génétique ...^^
France easily by 20
All we can hope for now is a fair refereeing so as not to spoil this match, which is so important for both teams.
France by 12
Easy French win sadly
The communication of the French staff under Galthié annoys me SO MUCH !!! not only during press conferences but also in the "insider"videos ... so much bs, empty words, fakeness, it's so weird
People will judge France by last weeks performance WITHOYT due regard for last weeks opposition. England by 8
Ireland struggeling doesn't mean France will too
@@luniqueful time wil tell but i dont think ireland are struggling, it was only the first game and they will get better.........plus italy have looked world class against weak opposition which lets br honset, Wales are atm
