When I sew my tote bags. I batch cut and the liner and main fabric pinning them in a corner so I know what goes with what . When I need that bag I just grab my batch. I usually focus on one main fabric at a time when cutting. I do also have a template for the various sizes I offer. Depending on the tote size I use the left over for the handles. Your products are awesome and your a better sales person of your own product than i. My sewing is supplemental to my full time job so I have to batch sew and have ready made to complete my orders.

I bet itfeels a bit weird working with such large pieces of fabric (for the bags) when you are so used to small scrunchie sized pieces... you are dooing amazing, very inspirational xx

So inspiring to watch thank you for sharing! I'm following my dream business, too. ❤
Quick suggestion that you may want to test to start is larger boxes for some of the larger orders. Your products are beautiful, and they may get more squished in transit than you'd like for a first presentation. I litterally can't wait to get that busy!! 🥰

Yay! I’m still in hossy and need something familiar and feel good to watch. Hope VIC Market went well this week. Sorry I missed it. But I think I’ll bring my mum for a getaway to Gippy soon and we’ll come and see you there. I’ll check in when we’re making plans 😉
With regards to the printed tissue, if I was ordering more I'd try palest, pink grey or I'd even give even white on white a try.
Hope there’s no typos, I’m on some pretty heavy medication and am very tired, but happy to receive 🔔 notification of your vid !! ❤😊🌸🧚

If you going to continue making the bags you need a heat press makes ironing easier and faster and if you using interfacing it sticks faster too using heat press. With the handles after pressing you can use double sided tape to fold maybe something to test.

Nice watching your videos, I made scrunchies as a giveaway for my best students every quarter, still have much for this school year. And working on too on fashion accessories for options since I don't have sewing machine anymore.

Yeah, I think the lighter print colour would be better on the tissue paper

Although, if it increases the packaging cost, it might be better to use the plain white, as people are excited about the items in it, and the white still looks professional. I feel postage costs on its own can deter some, do keeping that down may help. Maybe I’m overthinking it❤❤

If you put instructions for care of your products on one of your photos in your shop then you would not have to put them with the actual item. People can see if it is cold water only or need to iron before they buy. Just a thought to save you some money in printing. Most of the care instructions get thrown away by careless husbands or boyfriends (how do I know this?).

I'm not sure if Australia laws are like the U.S. but you legally have to include care instructions either as a little tag or paper. That's how it was when I was studying fashion design years ago, not sure if that has changed

@@wendyartist Thank you for the explanation. It is good to know how so much paperwork gets generated for everything.

you could always do a care instructions pdf on your page so people could just download it and print it out themselves
