The idea of this detail was to enhance the paintwork and remove defects to achieve around 80% paint correction, so not aiming for perfection. The roof was only given a single stage polish just to boost the gloss, as agreed with the client and no protection was added as the car was going straight up for sale. I hope you enjoy the video everyone 👍🏼
Massively underrated channel - no flashy gimmicks or clickbaity thumbnails/titles. I'm just starting to get into the industry and always use your videos and advice to refine my processes - so a massive thanks for all the tips and information you put across in your content. Just a question - would you ever consider doing training courses? (taking covid out of the equation)
Thank you! Believe me, I’ve been doing it for 12 years and still learning. New and better products are coming out all the time which is great. I haven’t thought about it really, there are a few people out there that do it. Some cowboys but some very talented detailers
@@HarpersCarDetailing If you ever decide to create one, either an online video tutorial course or an in-person training workshop - id be more than interested!
Thanks Paul! I know, they are pretty useless! I must admit, I’m a huge fan of this shake disco. It’s before they started to choose looks over functionality
Thank you Julie! I was actually quite relieved ha Range Rovers are great as they usually have a pan roof so the majority is glass, whereas this was all paint, so correcting the roof could have taken hours!
Hi Harper, what cutting compound and polish would you recommend for someone who wants to machine polish their own car? And a machine polisher for beginners
Hi Lee, what car do you have? Different polishes are better suited for different cars, so if you let me know I should be able to point you in the right direction 👍🏼
It’s all about the cleaning power. The thicker the foam means the dryer the foam which equals less cleaning power. Might look good on UA-cam, but not in real life application

Nick is amazing at detailing.
Nice work . I appreciate the fact that you stay away from weird obnoxious techno music that is prevalent in most other detailing videos.
Thank you 👍🏼
I like to try and keep it simple and to the point!
Great video, love that you don't play music👍
I love your way to clean the cars
detailing at its best keep up the work harper
Thank you Junaid 👊🏼
Another superb job. A great improvement and it must be very satisfying to see the end result.
Hi just subbed. Lovely workmanship. Nice bit of Rasmus - in the shadows in the background 👍
Thank you very much!
Yeah the guys were listened to it in the background 👍🏼
Another amazing upload! 👏🏻
Great work, the car looks amazing!!!!
Another great turnaround, have to say the mudflaps fitted are a bit pointless. Last of the proper Disco's, a truly go anywhere vehicle.
Thanks Paul!

Nice! 👌👍
I think your paint correction in this video was more than minor. Good work. Thank you,
Excellent detail as always! It must have been painful not to do the paint correction to your standards.
Thank you Julie!
I was actually quite relieved ha

Great video I like your work! Which pump sprayer do you use? The pump sprayer with the apc for the wheels? Greetings from germany
Thank you 👍🏼
It’s a Spear and Jackson pump sprayer, nothing too special 👍🏼
Always great job!! Can you tell me what compressor machine are you using and do yo use tornado for interior cleaning? Thank you!
I use an SGS compressor 👍🏼

Try a leaf blower to get water out of those crevices.
13:45 I use a blower.
Leaf blowers are a bit too big and cumbersome 👍🏼

Definitely in need of a COVID haircut now mate, you’ll have it in a pony tail soon !!! ❤️👍🏼😜
Haha I know, tell me about it! 30th April it’s booked in 🤦🏽♂️
As always first view ❤️
And always first to finish ?😂
That’s not foam. Just soap suds lol.
