Nice vid bro! I went out for the first time with a three prong and caught/ate some kole. I did some research on ciguatera and saw kole are responsible for a lot of cases. What's your opinion on eating them? Also are king kole just older bigger kole or they a different species?
Mahalo for watching and commenting. My opinion is that ciguatera depends on where the fish came from. If you are fishing in a more populated area with a lot of run off more chances. The King Kole is a Surgeonfish like the Kole but it is different and doesn't have the orange color in the meat.
