It blew my mind how ultra realistic my cloned voice was after using the Eleven Labs AI voice cloning tool. The text to speech created ai voiceovers that sounded just like me!

The UI of this product is terrible. Even logging into an existing account is difficult. Whoever designed the UI should set him/her self free to go into the world and do something for which he has an aptitude and basic skills.
Sir what is the difference instant voice cloning with profesional voice cloning?
This could work really well for short little podcasts. The quality is very usable. For me the video clones still need more work. Thanks for sharing Greg.

Only thing I’d be worried about is them taking your AI voice and using it! Dunno if it would be my thing unless it clearly states it will only be used by me

That's what I wondered too, so looked it up:
"To create a Voice Model through our Services, you may be asked to upload audio recordings of your voice as Input to our Services, and ElevenLabs is permitted to use those audio recordings of your voice subject to subsection (d) below. I just signed up and this is crap. I can’t even finish the voice cloning process. It failed 4 times and then succeeded the 5th time but it’s not allowing me to move into the next step to finish the cloning process and I can’t even. Redo it because it’s saying in only allows you to have one voice cloning. If my voice cloning was not even accepted or finished why is being counted as a recording. I can’t even use that option for any of my recordings. What is the point of paying for a premium membership if you are limited to only one cloning voice. This is stupidity.

The way i speak or the way my accent is... Can it also clone that? If lets say i have a Indian accent then it can clone the accent too?
how about cloning the accents? I am getting troubles to get rid of my accent, and I sound like Australian in Eleven Labs. Is 8 hour long voice cloning training worth it?

Hey Greg! Thanks for this. I’m definitely interested in testing this out to speed up my editing too. One quick question if you don’t mind - with UA-cam now “cracking down” on AI, will they be able to pick up videos that use these cloned voices to create voiceovers?
That is a very good question. I certainly need to look into it more.
I’ve noticed big UA-camrs using ai voice clones to narrate their Shorts recently, so maybe it will be ok
